Joana couldn't be a better hostess! Really lovely and polite in her manners, being always available to help and provide with great tips. In addition, she owns the most adorable cats, that loves cuddling :) we'd definitely recommend and are willing to get back if ever consider visiting Berlin any time soon.
Joana's apartment was a bit of an adventure to find initially, because it was through one main door, through a courtyard, and up some other stairs, but once I knew where it was, it was no problem at all. Very close to the train station in a residential area, one could catch a train or bus within 5 minutes of leaving the apartment. Joana was very friendly, and gave a great perspective on the city. She could give you any major social or bar scene as well as iconic landmarks and good places to eat. Very knowledgeable in the way of the city and things that appealed to a wide array of individuals. The space was very intriguing, which was a highlight for me. She has lots of personally constructed furniture such as a cool lofted bed space which was cool to me as an engineer. The bed was very comfortable and easily slept 2, bathroom was easy to navigate, and although it is a one-room-style apartment, there's no feeling of being cramped. If I ever end up in Berlin again, this will be my first choice of where to stay. Also, she has 2 very friendly cats, which I appreciated because I have a cat back home, whom I haven't seen in a few months.

Joana was a great host and made my friend and I feel very welcome. Her flat was clean and organized, and the futon we slept on was comfortable. The area she lives in is close to Tegel airport and there are lots of restaurants nearby. Also, her cats were adorable and super friendly.
Joanna was a great host. She is an interesting creative person. Positive, friendly and helpful, this words are about Joanna. The flat is the same as on photos. It was comfortable to me to stay at Joanna"s place. 5 minutes walk to public transport, 15-20 min to city centre.
Joana is a wonderful, interesting and open-minded person. Her place is in nice district of Berlin. It's very close to the more lively streets in the otherwise relatively quiet Moabit. Her flat was lovely and made me sleep well, especially as a cat lover. ;-) Would have loved to have stayed longer!
