House - Entire home/apt · Via Pratalozzo, Pescia, Tuscany 51017, Italy

The Space

Cozy and comfortable stone and brick villa located in the middle of olive trees and vineyards. Maximum quiet and relaxation with the perfect location: only a few miles from Lucca, Pisa and Florence, the beach and other major attractions. Two bedrooms with king or twin beds. Extra bed for child. Sleeps four+1. Spacious living room with satellite TV and DVD player. Large eat in kitchen with brand new appliances, dishwasher. Outdoor furniture to BBQ outside or lay in the sun. Parking for up to three cars. In unit washer. Tons of sunlight. Recently renovated old typical Tuscan villa. The train station is only 10 minute drive and allows you to get to anywhere you want to visit on a convenient day trip so you don't have to deal with traffic. My husband and I are from Milan but spend most of the summer the villa next door and when we are there we are always up for showing you around, share produce from the garden, and come up with suggestions of fun things to do. No internet . Available only for weekly rentals or long weekends. Please inquire for special pricing and discounts for winter time, long stays and short notice.

We are new on airbnb but we have rented the house for a few years through an agency. I always leave a book in the house for reviews and comments and, considering the lack of airbnb reviews, I posted the reviews from the book as images, hoping they can be of help to potential future guests (last names and addresses have been omitted for privacy reasons).

(We are pet friendly! Cleaning surcharges may apply)

PLEASE NOTE: the 3 nights minimum is valid only from April through October included. From November through March it's a 1 week minimum stay

  • I was in Italy to do research, including in Pescia; this LOVELY, magical cottage was close by, and a reason in itself for making the trip!!! We enjoyed the church bells, the arched windows to the floor, the super cleanliness, the olive groves, the cherry tree behind the house (we were given permission to pick some, which my 6 year old adored; everything was beautiful and we hated to leave. Very peaceful; and we had the added treat of meeting Marta and her husband and daughter before we left--all very friendly and helpful. Their tips for Milan were also good. Terrific and fun and BEAUUUtiful!

  • We are a French family of 4. We had a lovely one-week stay in Tuscany in Marta's villa. The house is very nice, well equipped and comfortable. Marta and her husband are very thoughtful hosts. It is conveniently located to visit the beautifil cities and countryside of Tuscany. We look foward to coming back !

  • We stayed at Marta's villa in August 2012. Unfortunately only for a week. I could move and live there forever ;) Marta and Claudio are extremely helpful and friendly hosts. I definitely recommend their Cozy villa to anyone who wishes to spend nice vacations outside of the big city noise and crowd. Yet if you feel like exploring the Tuscany, the highway is just 10 mins away making this place perfect location for everyone!

About
I'm friendly, cheerful and outgoing. I'm a high school teacher. I love cooking, baking, cross stitch, traveling, seeing my children and meeting new people. My husband Claudio and I live in Milan but we try to spend all our free time in Tuscany. We love being there and we love meeting the guests who are renting the other villa. In my free time I'm also studying English...It's hard at my age but it keeps me active. My daughter lives in the US so I get to practice my English only when I go visit her, which is not as often as I would like. Our son lives in France... Since my husband retired and the kids left, we have more time and we are trying to rent the villa, attend the garden in Tuscany more efficiently and travel more. I can't wait to retire as well so we can move to Tuscany full time!
