About this listing
This enchanting loft is situated on Via Margutta, a quiet and central street full of antique shops, painters and artists, a few steps from Piazza del Popolo and from the Spanish Steps. Located in one of the most elegant and exclusive courtyards of Rome, this loft was once Picasso’s studio. At the entrance, an intimate sitting area with armchairs and lush plants make up the scene for a relaxing break. The spectacular view of the well-groomed gardens is one of the reasons why you should choose this place!
This centrally located loft stands on 2 levels. The ground floor is made up of an open space living and dining room, a fully equipped kitchen, a small room with a single sofa bed and 2 bathrooms. Near the entrance, there is also a comfortable double sofa bed. On the upper level, you’ll find an open concept bedroom with a king size bed, a small bathroom, and a lovely terrace.
The living room is well furnished with 2 cozy day beds, a low coffee table, wall deco of Roman vases, an antique wooden desk, a dining table. The extremely high ceilings and spaciousness, together with an elegant black “cotto” floor make this loft exceptionally unique.
A long corridor leads you to the kitchen, which is fully equipped with gas stove, oven, dish washer, fridge, and freezer. The two bathrooms (with bathtub and shower) are also located in this area of the apartment.
Up the stairs, the master bedroom is flooded with light which penetrates through a very large window. On the light-brown wood floors, sit a comfortable king size bed, night tables with lamps, a red armchair and a matching red carpet. A small bathroom is also on the same floor.
