A quaint, cosy apartment in a tranquil area, newly renovated, that serves as a perfect stepping stone for your adventures throughout the labyrinthine city. Beautiful churches, a romantic stroll to the “Zattere,” the boutiques and market of Campo Santa Margherita and the Church of Nicolò dei Mendicoli, just around the corner. Restaurants, shops, supermarkets and everything else you may need are all nearby.

Elena met us at the train station and gave us a great tour through the neighborhood on our walk back to the flat. The fridge was stocked with juices and fruit and a bottle of wine. She also provided fresh bread and preserves as well as chocolate candies which were all appreciated by weary travelers. The flat itself is indeed cozy, very clean and charming with nice bedding, a comfortable bed, and a well- stocked kitchen. There was a bookcase filled with books on Venetian art and history, guidebooks, and local maps as well. She provided a binder filled with information on how things worked in the flat as well as suggestions for sightseeing, getting around Venice and restaurants. The neighborhood is quiet and lovely, and we felt safe walking back from restaurants even very late. You are within walking distance to the Vaparetto stops (10-15 leisurely minutes), the bus and train stations as well as local restaurants, shops and major sights. Elena was very easy to contact. We had a great stay and would definitely stay in Elena's cozy flat again. She is a great host!
Elena's cozy and comfortable apartment was the perfect place to spend 3 days in Venice. It was clean, well decorated, and had a modern kitchen and bathroom.
The apartment was located in a charming and quaint section of the dordosuro neighborhood- removed from the throngs of tourists, but still a short walk to all the main attractions. The vaporetto stop is also not far. The neighborhood was quiet and a welcome escape from the more heavily touristy sections in San Marco.
Elena was extremely kind to meet us just outside the train station in the rain and guide us to the apartment. She also generously stocked the kitchen with food staples like bread, milk, butter, cheese, coffee so we could have a nice breakfast.
All in all, a great apartment. Highly recommended!
We had a good contact from the first moment on and Elena answered all our questions immediately. So we started our journey well informed.
When we arrived at Piazzale Roma we were welcomed and accompanied to the really cosy flat. We had there 5 really great days, everything was fine and comfortable. It was a good feeling to know such a nice place to retire.
In summary we can really recommend the cosy flat in the labirinthine part of Dorsduro, which is in addition the quarter of Venice with a low amount of tourists and a high amount of native italian people.
Thanks Elena for 5 great days
