The Rione Monti is one of the most ancient quarters in Rome. Here you are fascinated from the many archeological sites existent and you can try the unique feeling of being in the real ancient Rome, just like it was once. The Colosseum, the Arch of Costantine and the Imperial Forums, indeed, will surely capture your admiration, but, not so far from the Colle Palatino [the Palatin, one of the 7 Roman hills], at a 100 m distance from the house, there is the Domus Aurea, ancient residence of the Emperor Nero, that is equally worth visiting. Along the Imperial Forums, finally, you can also find out the Mercato Traianeo [Trajan’s Market], the Foro di Cesare [Forum of Caesar] and, at the end of the street, Piazza Venezia.
