The district of Friedrichshain is one of the youngest, most creative and exciting areas of Berlin. Nowhere else can you find so many options everyday for eating, drinking, shopping and dancing. Its attractions include the East Side Gallery, the Oberbaumbrücke, the Anhalt Station, the charming Boxhagener Platz (right where the apartment is located) and the popular Simon-Dach straße, with its numerous bars and cafes. Friedrichshain is a really trendy area, dotted with many small, cute and green alleys. If you want to relax during the day in parks, meet nice people and throw yourself into Berlin nightlife, then it is the perfect district for your stay. Friedrichshain is located very centrally, in a short time you can reach Berlin’s major hotspots by public transportation, car or bicycle.
Just few rules:
1) Respect the neighbors. Since you are living in a building with normal flats and people who are permanently living here you must respect the neighbors. You are NOT ALLOWED to listen loud music/tv or to do party inside the flat. Especially before 8 am and after 9pm you must avoid any noise that can be disturb other people.
2) Use of Internet. You are not allowed to download any program or file that is not legal. Police's german downloading rules are quite strictly and if something illegal has been downloaded, they can catch you and let pay fees (around 2000 €).
3) Smoking in the flat is not allowed.
Thank you Mario.
Everting was perfect.
See you soon for the next booking!
Maison propre et conforme à la description.
Que du bon.
Allez y sans hésiter.
Mario was friendly and helpful when I had a question, and responded relatively quickly. The apartment is good - Comfortable and spacious. I did have an issue with getting hot water when showering which eventually resolved itself. Location is great.
A really lovely apartment in an ideal location. Some things should be flagged up however: there is no dishwasher, very limited floor space, and the bathroom is very unattractive. Mario also wasn't the most responsive host I've ever had.
This is a one bedroom flat and not a two bedroom flat as advertised. The second bed is in the kitchen.
We checked in at 7pm and the cleaner (who was very nice) was still cleaning and doing laundry. All the laundry is left in the bedroom to dry (not the healthiest).
The day after we booked we tried to move our check in from 7pm to 4pm. We received no response at all so had to hang around for hours. A response either way would have been nice. I don't think a 4pm check in is unreasonable and late check in certainly isn't noted on the website.
No light in the bathroom so you need to use a lamp which doesn't work while the washing machine is plugged in.
Good location and good shower but there are much better options out there. Shame.
We had an amazing time in Mario's flat. It is in a great location on a beautiful road. The flat is a little run down in places e.g. the bathroom. But overall it was clean and tidy. A great home at great value for our trip to Berlin :-)
Read reviews before you book.
We did not, and all complaints still valid. Good points valid.
Needs good clean . Lights in bathroom, jug, not working.
Laundry for next guest left to dry in our bedroom for week.
Good sized 1 bedroom unit in good location.
Do not be confused by pictures with same bedroom photographed with different curtans, bedspread and angle.
Communication with Mario TERRIBLE.
Very nice location if you like cool district with bar and restaurant, at the same time the flat is very quiet. There is an inner courtyard where you can park your bike.
The flat was similar as the description.
Two negative points : it was not very clean and there are no curtains in the living-room/second bedroom.
Mario contact me with enough time to prepare the trip and was easy to reach.
