The apartment is wonderful! When we first arrived we were impressed to see that it is actually nicer than the pictures suggest. High ceilings, dramatic lighting, and very spacious. Excellent closet space, large bedrooms, not just a washing machine, but a laundry room. The apartment was also incredibly clean, which really impressed us. The location is the best in Rome. Minutes walk away from major tourist attractions, in an elegant building, on a very charming side street. The water pressure in the showers was good, plenty of hot water, the apartment was warm and cozy. Angelo met us upon our arrival. We asked for a second set of keys, and he brought us a set within minutes. He answered any questions, and gave us maps of the area.
It is not stocked with personal soaps and such, but I didn't expect that. If you walk out the door and make three rights, there is a small market (two minutes away) with everything that we needed. Delicious Bakery and Meat, Cheese and Wine store, also to the right, and a pizzeria across the street. One night we had a little cocktail party for ourselves around the kitchen island stocked with delicasies from those places before we went out to dinner.
All in all, a fantastic deal for a great stay in Rome.
Our stay here was fantastic. Excellent central location, walking distance to many attractions including The Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Spanish steps, and Vatican City via The Tiber. Great restaurants on our door step. If you're feeling peckish just peek out the living room window and you can even see which Pizza is being served from the (excellent) take-out pizza stop opposite the apartment! The apartment itself was clean with modern fittings and fixtures, comfortable beds and is of a spacious layout situated on a quiet street. This apartment comes highly recommended.
The reservation was canceled 155 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
The apartment was spacious and we enjoyed our stay. The location is central to many of the major sites.
This apartment was even better than the pictures! It had three very comfortable bedrooms with comfortable beds, two nice big bathrooms and large living room and kitchen and washer. There was two big windows in the living room that opened up to the quant street below. We found fantastic dining choices very close as well as little markets for fresh Cheese, Fruit, Salami, Bread, Olives, Milk and Wine!
The location was fabulous a short walk to everywhere! We were about a 3 min walk to the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Navona Square and 10 min from the Vatican. There is a cab stop just in front if you prefer. We took a cab to the Coliseum to save time cost about eight Euros.
Five of us stayed at the apartment. Aunt and Uncle, Father and my husband and I. We booked the place only 2 weeks before arriving as our initial booking was cancelled. Stefano was quick at responding and we were relieved The location is fantastic. The apartment is big and there is plenty of room for 5 people. Upon arrival we had our Italian driver call Stefano to ask when he would arrive at the apartment to let us in. I had asked Stefano to meet us at the apartment at 2pm. We waited for about 5 minutes before someone showed up. It was someone from the agency with keys (not Stefano). He was kind enough to leave two sets of keys as it is hard to work with one set for 5 people. We did have some inconveniences, when went to shower there was no hot water. Of course after 24 hour travel time (we came from a safari in Southern Africa) one wants a warm shower. We called the agency and a man named Mario came about 15 minutes later. It was another 45 minutes before the hot water was running. The beds were not made when we arrived. The linens were placed on the bed for us to make it and the blankets in the closets. The host provided one bath towel per guest but no wash towels or hand towels to dry our hands with after washing our hands. There was also no hand soap provided and only two rolls of paper for 5 guest for 4 days. The bathrooms did not have any floor mats for after shower. Of course when you are only provided one bath towel per guest it makes it difficult to step out of the shower and not slip and fall on the sleek floor. When we wanted to make coffee we only had 4 coffee cups for 5 people. So, 1 person had to use a regular glass. Overall the place was okay, but it lacked almost all basic amenities that one would expect from a vacation rental.

These kind of people miss the cultural background which makes the difference between a tourist and a traveler. I would never recommend them as guests and just regret I accepted their booking.
Stefano unjustly left the above review after our review. In all honesty, it is not our fault the apartment lacked basic necessities such as toilet paper, hand soap and hand towels. We have traveled extensively & rented from airbnb before (all great places) & have never encountered this. We are also Airbnb Host & know the importance of providing the “little things”. One would think (tourist/traveler) that enough toilet paper (more than 2 rolls for 5 people for 4 days) would be sufficiently provided. Once again, Stefano thanks for the stay. The apartment was spacious, clean, in a perfect location but inconveniently missing essentials.
