The apartment is large enough for 4 people who can have intimacy. Bedroom is spacious, the bed is really good with comfortable and quality mattresses. Bed need more dust cleaning though. Living room can be a second place for sleeping, we had one single bed for grandma and the couch for my daughter. The place for eating has a long table, perfect for a dinner or lunch for 8 people! The kitchen has everything you need, high level of stuff for cooking, we enjoyed it! terrace is a plus as it brings light and fresh air and the place to go out for a chat. If weather is good, it can be used for breakfast or lunch as it is sunny. Bathroom is good, warm, good shower and water pressure. Towels were red, I would prefer white. It is good that temperature in the apartment can be adapted to the weather through very efficient heating system. Location is 10-15 minutes from center with tram, but connections are really good. Joordan district is 15 minutes walk, worth it. There is a supermarket very close and a nice park. Sander was really helpful, arranging us taxi, or restaurants booking and even let us to check out late. Overall, a good experience, nice place for a week during Easter!

Sanders flat is really great and we felt very comfortable there. It is very tastefully furnished, spacious , clean and there is everything you need especially a bed in which we slept very well. Sander himself is great and his tips were very helpful. Our favorite of his restaurant recommendations was by the way the Radijs, with the bicycle in few minutes to reach. In short: it all fit perfectly.

Where do I start with this? So much to say. This was a trip that will stay with me for a very long time. I'm no stranger to the Netherlands or Amsterdam. I've stayed all over the city in various apartments but none quite like Sanders. Modern and well equipped with everything you could need. Beautifully decorated throughout and it felt like home instantly. We were welcomed with cheese and beers and I can say I hope to be friends with this guy for many years to come. He was extremely helpful and always there if we needed. The best neighbourhood I've stayed in and I'll be back again for sure!

First of all thanks for your curiosity! My name is Sander and since 7 years I am lecturing economics at university. Before that I have worked for several companies in the sales department.

In between jobs I backbacked through Asia, Central and South America for 1 year, so you can imagine my interest for travelling! I have experienced the most amazing things, but people have always made the difference. In that perspective my long time friends describe me (yes I've asked!) as an adventurous, social, sincere, funny, energetic guy that loves good wine and good food in good company.

After renting out my apartment for a few years I can honestly say that I enjoy hosting people and advising them on what to do while they are here. Since this is the house I personally live in, it's always my goal to achieve a certain connection with every guest in order to trust them with my property. So far this approach has resulted in overall satisfaction and quite some new friends. So let me know what your interests are and you will experience Amsterdam feeling like a local instead of a tourist!
