Awesome Penthouse w/ River Views

Apartment - Entire home/apt · West End Ave, New York, NY 10023, United States

My awesome modern corner penthouse apartment on the Upper West Side has sweeping views of the city and river in safe luxury doorman (24/7) building that's < 10 mins from Central Park, Lincoln Center, the subway, taxis and more.

The Space

Beautiful corner penthouse w/ SW exposure overlooking the Hudson River in a terrific luxury doorman building on the Upper West Side.

I've lived here for 9+ years (which is like 632 in NYC years) and absolutely love this place.

This is a large (by NYC standards - 1000+ soft) 2-bedroom apartment with 2 separate, private bathrooms. The bedrooms & bathrooms are on opposite sides of the apartment, so there's plenty of privacy (no shared walls, etc.)

The available bedroom has its own bathroom, queen-sized bed with a VERY comfy mattress (I promise you'll fall in love), and you'll have use of the entire apartment.

I travel quite a bit, so some dates I'll be at the apartment as well in my own bedroom, other dates you'll have the whole place to yourself.

Some highlights of this apartment:

* Modern luxury doorman building
* 39th floor penthouse - spectacular, sprawling views of the city & Hudson River
* Balcony overlooking the river
* Great Upper West Side location - 5 minutes' walk from Lincoln Center, 5 minutes to Hudson River Park, 7 minutes from the subway, and 10 minutes to Central Park
* Full kitchen w/ gas stove, dishwasher, and fully plumbed Expobar espresso machine (if you're into that sort of thing ;)
* 50" Plasma HDTV
* Verizon FiOS cable & internet - the absolute best. 150 Mbit / sec internet w/ WiFi included.
* On-site parking garage available - attached directly to building (daily rates apply)
* Full gym w/ pool in lobby of building (privately owned/operated, so additional charges apply)
* Laundry room in lobby of building
* Supermarket & several small markets all within 2 blocks.
* Easy access to the subway (1 line @ Lincoln Center is about 7 minutes' walk) and there are always dozens of taxis zooming by on West End Ave. downstairs.

In other words, you'll love it here. My previous guests have been thrilled, and you will be too. Let me know if you have any questions!

One note: When I'm home, I have an awesome and super-friendly cat named Chester. You'll love him and he'll love you, but if you're allergic, keep that in mind. When I'm traveling, he stays with my parents at their place.

  • Great apartment! The views are outstanding from the 39th floor and especially beautiful at night; you can see the top of the Empire State as well as all the way to the One World Trade Center downtown.

    The apartment had everything we needed (great coffee too!) and the bed was comfortable as well. The reception staff are friendly and helpful too. Not too far from the Lincoln Center subway either, so getting around wasn't an issue.

  • Best place we have ever stayed in NYC!
    Here for a week on business and coming home to this lovely apt. in the sky was a total treat.Cozy and warm.Mostly ate in ( freezing out side) and no restaurants nearby.Lots of restaurants deliver.
    Did walk to Cafe Luxembourg ( 7 blocks up and one block over) for breakfast,only 5 minutes away and highly recommended.
    We weathered 2 storms ,slush up to our ankles and freezing cold weather and staying here made it all go away...delightful! Can we move in?
    Eye mask and era plugs for me (princess and the pea) made it 100% fabulous.Oh, and great bed too..
    Thank you Noah!!!

    Response from Noah:

    Wonderful Peggy!! Thanks so much for the kind words. And glad you discovered Cafe Lux - it's terrific and a great UWS spot. You're welcome back whenever you'd like.

  • We had a wonderful stay at Noah's apartment. The place is modern and clean, neighbors are quiet and we were happy to be able to have our cat with us. Lincoln square/Columbus circle area is easily reachable from anywhere in town.
    We strongly recommend this place.

  • What an extraordinary place to stay in NY. Views were breathtaking. Couldn't believe how warm and cosy the apartment was in mid-winter. Didn't need to use the heating once during my December visit. The description doesn't do the apartment full justice. Noah was at home for 3 of the days during my 10 day stay but hardly saw him. NY is a magical city to visit and Noah's apartment provides the perfect space to call home.

  • Fantastic location for a great price!

  • Our time spent staying in Noah's apartment was one of the highlights of our trip. Noah was fantastic; really friendly and always happy to talk about the day's activities, and his apartment was wonderfully clean and well furnished. The kitchen facilities were great. The location of the apartment was amazingly convenient and offered a beautiful view of midtown Manhattan. We had a wonderful time over the ten days we stayed there and are definitely keen to stay there again!
