Also I just put in brand new ground patio for renters to enjoy fresh air the sun and the view. this is a very quiet neighborhood. the backyard has sun all day long when weather permits.

Responsive host. This basement apartment was as described, convenient for our visit with family located in Burnaby. Great park down the street.
Pros: Excellent value for money. Quite clean. Comfortable beds. Excellent large capacity washer/dryer. Close to grocery store.
Cons: Poor soundproofing with upstairs means we heard every footstep. As of July 29th, still a significant ant problem (as mentioned in an earlier review), ant traps seem to be helping very little.
Me fez sentir a vontade, porém no final, está me constrangendo, me cobrando mil dólares de muita por algo que não fiz, danificar as prateleiras embaixo de sua pia.
Estou muito desapontado com esse tipo de atitude, muito mesmo.
Lovely home, close to Brentwood amenities. Very clean and as described, host is courteous and prompt in responding. Would rent here again.
Daniel responded super quickly when we couldn't find the keys - as we had arrived much later than planned, due to flight delays it was dark! -- ... The apartment is a *basement* conversion, and to be honest I wouldn't have rented it if i had realised - I am 6'4''. For me this property was a problem as in the kitchen I hit my head... Although in the text it does indeed say, from the pictures this hadn't clicked. The place was absolutely clean and tidy, with tv and wifi, air heating, nice kitchen. The windows are small and at head height - and haven't been converted really since it was an actual basement. Given the price of the rental I think these things could be excused, and I'll reiterate that the apartment was really tidy and clean, but it wasn't really for us.
Great location, as described. Good communication with owner. Plenty of towels, sheets and dishes. Good sized bedrooms. I’ve booked my next stay already.
I recommend place as described in the photos, I am had the opportunity to meet Daniel, but his place is close to the park, malls, SkyTrain.
Neighboorhood was nice. Description was accurate. We had a rental car and there was lots of room for parking at the back. Host explained to me via text on how to get in and where to park.
When we got in we were cool with the decor and looks.
Unfortunately the toilet was broken, and there were tiny ants everywhere in the bathroom.
After Daniel came by to fix everything and set up ant traps, the rest of the trip went very smooth.
Would I stay there again? Yea, I probably would. It is what it is, and you get what you pay for.

About the Host, Daniel
Hi Welcome to my site, I haved lived in BC all my life and most my family lives in Burnaby this is why I chose the house I live in. I love being so close to downtown vancouver without the noise of vancouver and also central to the lower mainland and north vancouver and even minutes to iron workers memorial bridge to get you on your way to whistler. I am manager a car dealership in the lower mainland work long hours but when free love to get outside and do something active and then off to one of Vancouvers fine restaurants. So if you need to know where the best plate of italian pasta is in the city just you picked the right place to stay, pasta not included :)
