2 bedroom basement suite. completely renovated, brand new granite counters, stainless steel appliances, high end washer dryer, new flooring, paint everything is new both bedrooms have queen size beds and WIFI
There is no access from upstairs to the basement suite it is a completely private suite.
This is in a very desirable neighburhood because of how relaxed, quiet and friendly the neighborhood is.
You are steps to transportation that will take you to Vancouver in minutes such as gastown, downtown, yaletown and stanley park.
Walking distance to restaurants like Cactus club, Joeys, Firepots, Boston pizza, Earls and Tim Hortons and Sushi Garden, Extreme pita, Brentwood Mall, Madison Centre wich includes Save on Foods, Drycleaners, Winners, liquor store etc.
Willingdon Heights community center is across the street with tennis courts, basketball courts, soccer pitch and baseball diamond as well as a gym.
Also I just put in brand new ground patio for renters to enjoy fresh air the sun and the view. this is a very quiet neighborhood. the backyard has sun all day long when weather permits.
Transit is walking distance, bus and skytrain
Only rule is treat the house like it is your own!
Treat the house like it is your own that's all!
The suite is a decent space to stay; very basic furnishings but clean and all the amenities worked fine. Definitely not a luxury place but, if you're just needing a place to sleep at night, the price and location make it totally worth it.
There is tons of great stuff in the area. Lougheed Highway and the Skytrain station within 10 minutes walking to connect you to lots of areas, nice big park and community centre basically across the street, and restaurants and a mall if you need to eat or shop.
Excellent place...comfortable stay. Just as described. Highly recommend Daniel's place.
Easy and Smooth despite the fact Daniel and I didnt actually meet in person. Regardless everything went really smooth and no issues arosed...
The host explained how to get into the building and how to get the internet going. The neighborhood seemed decent and safe.
We had a great time at Daniel's home. It is in a great location by a park and close enough to the city to easily navigate by car or by public transportation. We enjoyed being able to participate in the Canada day festivities and then return home to a quiet and spacious place.
The interior and decor inside is minimalist... but clean and perfect for our needs. I traveled with 3 other women and all of us agreed we liked this home the best (for spaciousness and ease.
I was glad others before had mentioned parking out back. It made it easier to find when we got there later at night. You have your own private entrance into the basement. You could hear the tenants upstairs a little bit but by no means was it a negative.
I would stay there again in a heartbeat! :)
First impression was a bit disappointed bases on the pictures we remembered when we walked in, but once settled we found the place very convenient and taking the price into account we can only conclude that it was very good value. We went to Vancouver downtown by public transport and car and both were very easy. The location is in a nice area with close nearby restaurants and shops,
Daniel provided on time information on how to get access to the property.
We booked this for my parents who visited for a week. Many thanks to Daniel for making sure everyone was comfortable and there were no issues. The basement suite was perfectly functional with couch, large tv, wifi and working kitchen. The place is walking distance to shops, a lovely park and public transport. The beds were very comfortable. The place is a little sparse in terms furniture and finishings, but as a base to go out and visit the city this was ideal and most importantly great value.

Hi Welcome to my site, I haved lived in BC all my life and most my family lives in Burnaby this is why I chose the house I live in. I love being so close to downtown vancouver without the noise of vancouver and also central to the lower mainland and north vancouver and even minutes to iron workers memorial bridge to get you on your way to whistler. I am manager a car dealership in the lower mainland work long hours but when free love to get outside and do something active and then off to one of Vancouvers fine restaurants. So if you need to know where the best plate of italian pasta is in the city just you picked the right place to stay, pasta not included :)
