I would like to say that me and my family loved our experiencie in Dublin and in Nikola's apartament. Everything was perfect and the apartament was ecxatly as he described. The guys that received us was very polite and attentive.
We really had a great time in this perfect area of Dublin.
On the positive side, he responded our emails promptly and recieved us (or rather his "housekeeper") right when we arrived. They provided us with everything we needed e.g. towels, kitchen utencils, bed sheets, and other things. Apart from their hospitality, the apartment was a bit of a mess with trash hidden under the sofa and one of the beds. Atop the cabinets was a half-eaten muffin beside cans and other rubbish. Not to mention, the trash can was already full when we got there. And finally, the supposed "wi-fi" worked marvelously for the first 15 minutes and never worked again. In the end, the apartment would have been great if not for the mess and the bad internet connection.
Our trip did not start off well. My husband and I waited outside for over three hours to let us in. The housekeeper knew we were coming and ignored our phone calls and text messages. Little did we know, she was just upstairs sleeping. After three hours in the cold we were greeted in an unpleasant manner. The window to the flat was left open so it was freezing in there. All I wanted to do was take a hot shower but we weren't supplied with any towels. Seven hours later we received some. The overall condition of the flat was dingy. Everything was dusty, there was visible mold, we couldn't use the refrigerator because of the rancid smell, the toilet seat was broken, and the bathtub filled with water every time one of us took a shower. Closing the doors and windows did not help with the noise. We were each given one towel for the entire 6 day stay and when we requested more we were ignored. Many of these problems had to do with the housekeeper, but the owner had a lot of work to do here. We did contact the owner once back home. He did apologize and did offer a small fraction of a refund but that doesn't help the horrible experience we had here. I would not recommend this flat unless you have very low standards. We ended up leaving early and checking into a hotel because it was so bad.
Very good location exactly over the red temple bar please remember to bring your earplug if you can't party every night until 2am.
Be honest it's just good for mix. 4ppl. Point is there is only 1 toilet, 6ppl all together use it in the morning with slow water flow slower may take 15 to 20mins per person because the hot water is just enough for 2ppl at a time.
Nic and his housekeeper are a nice person always take care of our needs.
