Maika is a keen home-cook who likes to blend traditional Greek cooking with a modern twist. The seasonal produce from our veggie garden encourages her cooking experimentation with outstanding results. Guests in our B&B may get to enjoy complementary homemade treats such as our ice-cold organic lemonade, our bergamot liqueur, our seasonal jams, fruit and vegetable salads. It all depends on what’s been cooked and the vibe of the day!
Besides any complementary treat there is the option to enjoy a generous and delicious breakfast and dinner while staying with us.
Breakfast with us (4 Euros per-person):
Our guests have the ability to have a hearty breakfast under the shade of the trees in our beautiful back garden. Our breakfast includes:

Dinner with us (10 Euros per-person).
In the evening Maika lights up the garden with little candle lanterns making it the perfect spot to enjoy a warm Greek summer evening. Guests can have dinner on a private candle-lit table or join us on a larger table for some greet-style feasting! Our dinner includes:

If you decide to try out our breakfast or dinner all we ask is to tell us a day in advance.
I can't give enough praise to Stelios and Maika! They are the most gracious, warm and accommodating hosts. Anytime I had a question or concern, they were happy to help me. It's obvious that they love having visitors in their beautiful home. Maika's cooking? FANTASTIC! Stelios's wine? SUPERB! Their music and dancing talents? FUN! :-)
It's less than 10 minutes to walk to the nearest Metro stop (the red line, which brings you right into Athens city center), which is just one stop north of the X97 bus stop from the airport. Stelios gives you a computer generated map with his house and points of interest indicated.
Dining outside on their tree covered patio was so relaxing and quaint. I met some wonderful people who were also staying there. 10 euros is a bargain for their delicious dinner and wine. The shower was strong and hot. The room had a desktop computer with internet access. No complaints at all!
I know Greece is amazing and beautiful, but let me know when you want to visit the states, Stelios and Maika! You have an open invitation to stay at my place! I'll show you my rock collection. :-)
I had a fantastic stay with Stelios and Maika! Their warm hospitality, super-clean home and tranquil garden put me at ease. They helped me practice Greek, especially in the evenings in the kitchen as Maika cooked. Maika's food is fantastic! I enjoyed dinner in the garden with them, hearing about their families and learning new Greek words. They suggested several beaches and even took me along one day to a lovely beach called "Kavouri."
We stayed here for 3 nights and couldn`t have been happier !
A very nice, clean, Quite and safety host. This place is amazing.
Stelios told us a many things about Athens and Maike is really a very good cook . we always enjoy her meals. When we come back one day to Athen we`ll book the house from Stelios and Maika agien !! Thank you sooo much Wolfgang + Elisabeth from Austria
Their home was just beautiful and so relaxing! I was invited in their home right away and they greeted me with a lemonade. (It was even 3 in the morning, they stayed awake for my arrival and picked me up from the bus station.) Anytime I needed ANYTHING whichever the request may be they were helpful in accommodating it or giving me information of another way to fufill it. They made me feel like I was visiting relatives but I was on vacation. I even lost my debit card three days before leaving and they helped me anyway they could to make sure I enjoyed the rest of my trip since the banks were closed the last three days I was there. I have nothing even minute bad to say and would stay again there in a heartbeat.
The Veggie Garden of Maika and Stelios is greek hospitality at it's
Maika loves to give the traditional, greek cuisine a new (email hidden)y her vegetarian dishes, the vegetables are fresh picked from their beautiful garden. So you can taste a seasonal, greek-bio cuisine with influences from regions all over Greece.

Traveling alone in the big city of Athens, it was wonderful to feel I had a home there with Stelios and Maika during my short visit.
