Staying here was like living in an elegant dream. The suite of rooms are up high in a tall house on a hill with lots of trees nearby. We felt well cradled there and surrounded by classic comforts. Ann was very responsive to all communications and needs. She also gave us very savy recommendations for breakfast. Be sure and take some time to enjoy the front porch. It's magical!
Great weekend stay! Ann was extremely helpful, the flat was very clean and comfortable, and downtown Nevada City was just a short walk away.
The Nevada City "Victorian Nest" is a great place to stay! Close enough to town to walk there in a few short minutes and far enough so that you don't have to worry about parking! There is more than enough room for two and your hosts are nice and helpful.
We had a fantastic time Chez Nori! Such a cute, well-maintained place and very well-situated. Thank you!
We had a lovely experience staying at the Artists Victorian Nest. The rooms were bright and clean and even more spacious than we expected. Very nice neighborhood close to shops and restaurants.
We spent a lovely winter weekend at Nori's. Communication and check in was seamless and the two bedrooms are divided by a spacious sitting room. We were happy to find a coffee maker and electric kettle, guides to the area, and enough heaters and blankets to stay warm through an unusual cold spell in Nevada City. There was a fridge on the porch for our perishables as well.
Nori's husband Jim met us when we got there and showed us around. After that we didn't see Nori or Jim much but they were easily accessible by text.
It's a beautiful and easy ten-minute walk to downtown Nevada city and we hope to stay next time we're in town.
Nori was wonderful and so was her beautiful home. The location was simply perfect, just minutes from downtown nevada city. The two rooms were perfectly spacious and although it was freezing out, the rooms stayed comfortably warm. Thanks again!
