This place was great. I am absolutely in love with the neighborhood! So much beautiful artwork on every corner. You have about a 3 block walk to the L train so very easy access to Manhattan. The apartment was nice and cozy. I didn't get to meet Sharon and Tom but they left very easy instructions to get inside. Everything was great, no complaints at all! To Sharon and Tom, thanks for allowing to stay at you beautiful apartment. If you will have me again, hopefully I'll get to meet you guys next time!
Great location and wondrecul stay! Sharon and Tom were wonderful hosts. Though we weren't able to meet for the key pick-up they were extremely accommodating and gave step-by-step directions on how to find the keys in the lockbox. Would love to stay again!
We contacted Sharon and Tom on very short notice, and they graciously accommodated on the day of (much appreciated!). The apartment was spacious, beautiful, very comfortable and clean. Location was extremely convenient, by Jefferson on the L train - great restaurants nearby and within walking distance to the Bushwick art galleries. We would highly recommend renting from Sharon and Tom - they were kind, generous, communicative... and the apartment is perfect for a weekend or even a long-term rental by Brooklyn.
Tom is very nice and friendly. The location is not so center, but near the metro station. And it's very convenient to live in the lower floor.
Had an incredible weekend in the city! The apartment was really comfortable and very clean, everything you would need. I was worried it would be too far out of the city, but it was so easy and convenient to hope on the L train and a straight shot into Manhattan. I would definitely stay here again.
The time in Brooklyn in Sharon and Toms beautiful apartment was great. Everything is very nice and cozy furnished and also the neighborhood is a nice place to stay. The way to the subway is short and within 20 minutes we were able to reach the center of Manhattan. We got to know Sharon and Tom a bit better when we were invited to the Christmas desert. It was very delicious and we enjoyed your company a lot! Thank you so much! If there is anything to complain, than only that the water pipeline is a bit noisy. Anyhow, great hosts!
Sharon and Tom were wonderful hosts! Very friendly and accommodating. We even had a chance to attend Sharon's art exhibit in the city -- which was excellent!
The space was great for the 3 months we were there. It came to be our home away from home. We felt the neighborhood was ideal--safe, quiet, and convenient. We were less than a 5 minutes' walk to the L subway line and a 15-minute direct shot to the heart of Manhattan. Laundromat was a minute away, as well as a couple decent eateries.
We will miss our Garden Apartment for sure. We look forward to returning to NY and would love to stay with Sharon and Tom again.
