Sally and Rob are happy to share their house with guests and are willing to give advice on local attractions to visit, where to go walking and good places to eat.
The Art House B&B is a beautiful house in a fantastic location. The views are obviously epic, you're on the Isle of Skye! Sally and Rob were really welcoming and friendly and great to chat to over a bottle of wine. Top notch service and a location that really is as good as the picture.
It was a pleasure to spend a night at Sally's house.
Everything is decorated with taste.
Love the room, the view, the soft bathrobes, the biscuits and tea kindly at your disposal in the room...
Sally and her husband are very nice and careful. Love talking with them about art, Scotland, politics , ...
We loved the place and highly recommend you to spend some times there.
If you have the chance to stay here then don't miss the opportunity to do so. Simply one of the best Airbnb stays we have had, and our second time staying with Sally and Rob. A great place to base yourself to explore the stunning Isle of Skye.
Sally and Rob (and Watson their lovely dog/pup) were great hosts! We had a fantastic time staying with them. The house is beautiful and truly an art house through and through. The property itself is also gorgeous with great views. We stayed in the blue room which doesn't have an en-suite, but our privately used bathroom was beautiful and spacious. All in all, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with several options.
Sally & Rob were the perfect hosts. Their home was cozy and felt like home after a long journey. The room was comfortable, clean, and the views breathtaking. Sally was helpful with not only recommending restaurants and things to do on Skye, but even called and made reservations for us. We especially loved our breakfast (scotch pancakes & bacon!) and chatting with Sally & Rob. Watson was also nice to be around - what a great dog. All of the little touches were especially nice - tea, coffee, and cookies next to our bed, bathrobes, and great conversation. We hope to get back to Art House sooner than later!
The house was in a perfect location with amazing views. The hosts made us very welcome and relaxed and the cooked breakfast were a treat. The whole experience was outstanding, and Sally and Rob's local knowledge enabled us to use our time on the island to best advantage. We saw and experienced elements on the island that we had not previously contemplated. Whilst the Art House is somewhat off the beaten track it is nevertheless in a good position from which to explore the whole island. We ate out locally at lunch and in the evenings and the recommendations were good.
The design of the house provided unrivalled views, the room was clean and well fitted, the bed was very comfortable and the house was warm. Staying here was the highlight of out time in Scotland.
We absolutely loved the Art House B&B. The rooms are lovely, the house is beautifully designed and spotless. The breakfast was delicious. But the best of all was feeling truly cared for while away from home. We had a bit of car trouble (stuck in a ditch while trying to avoid a Highland bull) and Sally was very thoughtful and concerned for us. Her husband even washed the bit of mud we'd gotten on the car off -- how nice! We only wish we could have stayed longer. Watson (the dog) and Trinny (the cat) were a treat as well :).

I am originally from Kent in the south of England but have lived on the Isle of Skye for over 20 years. It's on Skye that I met my husband Rob and where we brought up our two boys.
We are hands on people - always making and creating! Decorating, drawing painting and collage, cooking and gardening fo myself. For Rob wood work, boat building, walking and climbing.
