Sally and Rob have a beautiful home in Heaste, and my wife and I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay in our two nights on Skye. The home itself is a really great piece of architecture, and the room is full of light, with a comfortable bed. Sally's Scottish breakfast was excellent, and in general Sally and Rob are very kind and interesting people, knowledgeable about the history of Skye and full of helpful suggestions. The rest of the reviews on this page tell the story, but I'm happy to add my voice to the choir, and I recommend the Art House wholeheartedly.

Sally's home was absolutely beautiful with lovely scenery all around! The room was smartly furnished, clean, and comfortable (the bed was superb). My dad and I thoroughly enjoyed the full Scottish breakfast and morning conversation before heading out for some local hiking. Would recommend this listing to anyone interested in staying "off the beaten path" on the Isle of Skye!
Sally and Rob were absolutely lovely hosts and we had a great time at their beautiful home.

The view from the house is amazing, the rooms are nice and clean with everything you need including tea, yummy cookies and cozy bathrobes :)
Would go back anytime!
The place is really lovely. We loved the room, it was more than comfortable. Would definitely visit again. The five mile drive to the house was literally awesome.

About the Host, Sally
I am originally from Kent in the south of England but have lived on the Isle of Skye for over 20 years. It's on Skye that I met my husband Rob and where we brought up our two boys.
We are hands on people - always making and creating! Decorating, drawing painting and collage, cooking and gardening fo myself. For Rob wood work, boat building, walking and climbing.
