We were all about the ideal location so this was the perfect place for us for a few days! Everything you need is provided. Even a large fridge and clean towels. I wouldn't describe this place as luxurious by any means but if your needing a place to just wash up after a day at the beach and sleep for a few hours after an amazing meal at any one of the great restaurants nearby, this place suits your needs!
We stayed in the Queens Suite for a few days and it absolutely had everything we needed for our brief stay. Functional kitchenette with private bathroom and access to the back yard. Unit is close to the Grand Hyatt beach and easy driving distance to Waimea Canyon. A bit dated but highly recommended.
The studio that we lived is well fournished. It contains everything that is necessary for the passing tourist. It is also very well located in a quiet and stylish environment. Beautiful beaches nearby and the shops are not far. But above all the host is very friendly, always willing to give information useful and generous. We recommend this place. Brigitte and Jack.
Cameron's home is in a Beautiful Neighborhood with easy and lovely beach access & the Gorgeous grounds of the Grand Hyatt Poipu to enjoy. You do not 'officially' get access to the Grand Hyatt facilities, but lunch by the pool and then off to the beach will satisfy anyone's appetite for AMAZING!
While Cameron's home is not the most luxurious in the neighborhood, it is extremely welcoming, accommodating, clean, spacious and we found it very comfortable. My Husband and I were traveling with our 12 year old and simply needed a place for 2 nights at the tail of a time share stay. The Queen Suite has a comfortable Queen bedroom, a long hall with bath and then a sitting room with kitchenette and a lovely lanai (patio) off that room. Cameron had made the fold out twin chair into a bed for our boy and it was PERFECT!!
The kitchenette is obviously a little tight, but I was surprised to find EVERYTHING we needed to make a full meal! Since coming from a week at a time share, we had a cooler full of food and between the outdoor gas grill, the mini Full size frig and the double burner.. we cooked up a steak meal complete with side dishes for 'lunch out' our last day and also whipped up a full brunch on our first morning with all the leftovers from our previous stay! Made for a very Efficient stay, allowed us to enjoy the home and yard as the locals would, and allowed us to put our money into meals out that we WANTED Out!!
Absolutely Great Stay! Cameron Extremely Accommodating and his home was set up well to make everyone feel welcome! Thanks Cameron!!
Cameron was a great host. Everything was organized for our stay and he welcomed us warmly. It was Christmas time and lots of holiday cheer abound including a great light display on the house. The area is amazing. Poipu has great beaches with sea turtles, monk seals and has plenty of shopping & restaurants which are a 5-10 min drive or a 20-40 min walk. We booked at the Hyatt's Pool Tide's restaurant for a lovely Christmas Eve dinner which is a few minutes stroll. The room was very comfy and the bathroom was clean. We didn't spend much time at home though except to sleep as there are so many beautiful places to explore. I can totally recommend this place. I think it is amazing value as the room is very comfy and the location is superb.
Cam is great! He told us great stories and gave us tips on places to see and things to do. We very much enjoyed staying with him.
The suite was fantastic. Very spacious, private and clean. Recently added sink makes for a fully functional converted kitchen!
Thanks for the great vacation, Cam!
Cameron was a great host and showed me everything I needed to know in Poipu. Don't go there without a car. The public bus is just awful. The rooms were clean and everything worked.
For the price, this can't be beat. The Queen suite consists of three small separate rooms (bedroom, bathroom, living room / kitchenette area). It's comfortable and has WiFi. I enjoyed chilling out in the cozy, private, and lush back yard area, which has lots of tables and chairs, a deck, and a gas grill for BBQing. The dog and cat are very friendly and mellow. The location is very close to Poipu beach and the Hyatt. The short walk to either is along a pedestrian path that is very nice.
The place was very nice, the location was great. Close to the beach Ina very quiet and nice neighborhood. We stayed in the queen suite. My one complaint is the kitchen. Even though it says kitchenette, which is fine, there is no actual sink for the kitchen which can be a hassle to wash the dishes. Other than that, everything was clean and comfortable.
Hey Munjal, The plumber was here yesterday... a sink is finally on its way! Just the same, there have always been a hot and cold water supply a couple big plastic tubs for washing and drying dishes. Where else can you enjoy doing dishes on your own lanai in tropical Hawaiian weather!
Good location with easy access to resorts, beaches, and restaurants. The queen space was adequate but small and a bit run down. Other rooms offered in the same house looked nicer. The queen space advertised as having a kitchen, but it was not a workable cooking space, so we enjoyed eating out. We had little contact with the host, but he was available if needed. The frequent visits from Chica the cat were appreciated.
