Check In
  • We had a great time during our visit. Elizabeth's place is comfy and in a great location. Just about 6 blocks from S. Congress, and lots of action on 1st. Everything was clean and the weather was perfect so we opened the windows. Even on a busy Friday and Saturday night it was pretty quite. Street parking. Would definitely visit again and recommend others stay here.

  • I had a lovely time in the studio. It's spacious, airy and very well-located. Bouldin Creek Cafe is a stone's throw away and a gem. The other restaurants/food-trucks/shops on S. First and S. Congress are all a quick walk. The neighborhood is great for a run or bike ride, and it's a short ride to downtown. Elizabeth was very easy to deal with on logistics, and quite responsive. Thanks for a great stay!

  • Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience at this studio apartment. It was a cold week in Austin last week and there is no central heating system in the unit to keep the temperature at a reasonable level. each night, I had to turn on a portable electric heater and it took all night to get the place to a reasonable temp. The bathroom and kitchen were very cold in the mornings as the small heater could not heat the entire unit.

The tenant in the back half keeps the TV pretty loud, and the second night, some friends showed up and pounded on their door at 1am. I will not come back to this space again.

  • I stayed here for 3 weeks while working in Austin and loved it! The location is incredibly convenient and within walking distance to tons of restaurants, food trucks, trendy boutiques, and brunch spots. The place itself is small but nicely appointed, my boyfriend stayed with me part of the time, and it does get cozy with two people. It's more like a studio than a one bedroom. The kitchen has most of the basics, and the shower has plenty of hot water and good pressure. One note- the shower head is pretty low, so if you're taller than 5'6 you'll have to duck your head to get under it. There is no central heat, so if you're planning to stay when it's cold be sure to ask the hostess for an extra heater, currently, there's only one space heater. The hostess is not onsite but check in and check out were simple enough, just left the key under the mat. The neighbors were friendly and the space was exactly what I needed for my stay. I would absolutely stay here again and would definitely recommend the spot to a friend. I could not think of a better place to stay when getting to know Austin!

  • Great location! We were able to walk to South Congress. The apartment is small but has enough space for 2 people. The only downside is that there is no wifi.

  • Excellent!! Elizabeth was a great host!! The room and bed were extremely comfortable. Bouldin Creek Coffeehouse across the street. Location great and close to everything if you are a traveller from other parts. The Lone Stars in the fridge were a major treat!

    Response from Elizabeth:

    thank you Scott!

  • Stayed at Elizabeth's place for our two nights is Austin and it was awesome! Great location - in a quiet neighborhood but very close to downtown. Bouldin Creek Coffee House & Cafe is right across the street and they have great vegan options. Easy to communicate with her and the space was super cute. Would definitely stay there again !!
