About this listing
Our place is in the heart of Washington DC, smack dab in the middle of the cherry blossoms, which will peak in the next 10 days. We travel regularly enough that we're happy to accommodate visitors, if your dates match ours!
We are in the heart of DC, and travel regularly. Our 2BR apartment is fully furnished in a full-service concierge building, and is located on the Potomac River, blocks from the nation's capitol, minutes from the national Mall, Nationals Stadium, and proximate to the very best of what DC has to offer.
The apartment has two full bedrooms, two full bathrooms, plus a large living room/dining room, a full and well-appointed kitchen, and a south-facing planted balcony. We look over the Potomac River on two sides and the balcony is private with views of the river, Washington National airport in the distance, as are a number of DC's historic monuments. There are large picture windows and lots of plants, good light, hardwood floors, central air/heat, and standard appliances/amenities: dishwasher, microwave, new refrigerator, cable television, WiFi, telephone, etc. The building has a fantastic outdoor pool as well.
The ideal person/couple/family should be-- MUST BE-- cat-filic, and willing to share the apartment with our two excellent and easy-going felines, Ginger Baker and OzBey. Serious inquiries can ph(phone number hidden).

I loved this apartment. With its location, eclectic decor and 2 cats to greet you... it was perfect for my family. Supermarket and restaurants nearby and walk or run along the Waterfront. Nick provided a parking pass so we did not need to use our car with a metro 5 minutes away. We felt at home given access to basic foodstuffs and wi fi. This is a superb location for visiting DC.
My only regret is not spending more time sitting on the balcony...one good reason to return!
