Slate floors throughout for beauty, and area carpets for comfort. Bathroom features large tile shower with travertine floors and a high shower head for the really tall people.

Renton is about 5 minutes. SeaTac International Airport is 15 minutes. Bus line nearby. Light Rail within 10 minutes.

The upper level of the house looks across the south end of Lake Washington and the views of lower Mercer Island, the lake, the Cascade Mountains are lovely and vary throughout the day. Shared laundry room, machines are almost always available.

Greet and walk through intially if they wish. Otherwise, very little unless the guess initiates a conversation. I try to be very accessable for questions and requests.

  • Debbie's apartment was very comfortable and enjoyable. We cooked some meals and the kitchen was well supplied and had all we needed. There was a private entrance and a nice, small private patio to enjoy coffee or just take in the day. We enjoyed the place very much and would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice spot in the Seattle area.

  • Clean, cozy little apartment in a safe quiet neighborhood. I don't have anything negative to say about this place. There were three of us, two in the bed, one on the couch and it was cozy and great.

  • Debbie's space is exactly how it is pictured. I had a great stay. Debbie accommodated a short stay by my husband and daughter graciously. The view of Lake Washington is beautiful and the fireplace and access to washer and dryer were quite a treat.

  • We checked in late and did not have an opportunity to meet Debbie. She had the key available along with the wifi info which was great. Debbie's apartment was wonderful--quiet, beautiful and comfortable. The fireplace was so fantastic! I would recommend her place to anyone visiting Seattle. It's close to the airport and downtown Seattle.

  • Debbie was very helpful and accommodating regarding our reservation, and responded very promptly to all of my questions and concerns. Her apartment was very clean and cute, and we had a great experience staying there during our trip! Thank you Debbie!

  • It was our first time visiting Seattle and decided that an apartment was the better way to go than stay at a hotel for a week. We wanted a home to relax in after venturing around the city.

Though we didn't get to meet with her face-to-face, Debbie was incredibly friendly and responsive every time we sent her an email. She was more than willing to pick us up some toothpaste after we realized we forgot to pack our own. She was incredibly accommodating to say the least.

The apartment was equipped with almost anything you need to cook in the kitchen. It was such a lovely place to stay that we loved being indoors with the cozy fireplace just as much as we loved being out.

Debbie's place isn't too far from public transportation, so even without a car, you're good to go! The location was in a nice neighborhood -- conveniently close to many stores and restaurants. We liked the fact that it was also a 10 minute drive to the airport.

If you're looking for a place to stay in Seattle, Debbie's apartment is the way to go. You won't be disappointed!

  • Debbie's place is very comfortable, exactly as described with a fully equipped kitchen. Debbie responded quickly to inquiries and is an easy going host. Finding and getting into the property was straight forward. The location is a nice residential area with easy access to the south Seattle / Renton area. Thanks for a great stay!

  • The accommodations here were exactly as described -- cozy and beautiful! Less than a 15 minute drive to Pike's Market, I had a wonderful stay at Debbie's apartment. It had all the amenities of home in a clean, spacious apartment and Debbie was readily available when I needed directions and cable assistance. The tile floors were gorgeous as well as pet friendly for my mini schnauzer. Easy to access grocery shopping, the interstate and there is a good $25 foot massage nearby at Sunset.

  • I am relocating to Seattle for work and stayed here five days. I am trying to learn the area by living in different parts of the Metro area. Debbie's apartment located on the extreme south eastern part of the Seattle, bordering Renton. Her apartment is in the lower level of her very nice home on a hillside with good views of the valley and lake. It is in an upscale part of an area surrounded by a working class neighborhood. I felt very safe and the neighborhood is well patrolled by the local police. Debbie's apartment is very clean, nicely decorated and furnished. The kitchen, bathroom, shower, and living rooms were very roomy. The bed was very comfortable. The quality and quantity of lighting really made her place seem bright and cheery. There is a gas fireplace and extra blankets for cold winter evenings, but I did not need to use them. The place was very warm to me. I enjoyed watching her DVD movie selection at night before going to bed. It's a very nice place!

Her place is not far from a Safeway grocery store. I also enjoyed going to a very nice Renton shopping center by the Boeing plant with a large movie theater. A bartender in the shopping center at a place called "World of Beer" recommended several nice neighborhood bars and restaurants in Renton. I went to a local Ale house for dinner one night and then to a very decent German restaurant the next night.

The place is about 9 miles from SeaTac. My morning and evening commutes to downtown Seattle was about 20 minutes during rush hour. I recommend taking the Airport Blvd north instead of interstate 5. It was much faster to where I was going.

Debbie quickly bailed me out my second day there when I managed to lock my self out. She also offered to let me yes her washer and dryer.

I would definitely stay at her place again and already miss the nice locals who were kind enough to chat with a stranger visiting from out of town at the local Renton establishments.

  • Debbie's apartment is amazing! The amenities, the furnishings, the location...just everything about her place was just perfect for me!
Debbie herself was the perfect host. On the few occasions that I needed to contact her for clarification on a couple of things, she was literally just a phone call away. Communication with her was excellent, both before my stay and during the stay.
Thank you so much Debbie for a wonderful and carefree stay at your apartment!

About
I'm easygoing and helpful as a host, and am having quite a lot of fun doing this. I have lived in Seattle since 1990. Have also lived in California, Eugene, Oregon and Western Montana. I love to garden and cook, and have recently become interested in sustainable living. This year I planted some blueberry plants and a rhubarb. For those of you who like to cook, there are fresh herbs around the property. Bay leaves, oregano, sage and thyme. I have three grown sons, a dog and a cat. I have worked in the real estate field for over 20 years.
