Emily emailed me three days before check-in about the details we needed to know to get in her house. Her house was very pretty and clean in a quiet neiborhood. Inside the house Emily left useful and clear instructions so we felt at home. Overall I strongly recommend Emily's house to visitors to Lake Tahoe.
Everything was just perfect about my stay! Emily had everything set up for easy access and she had many amenities to boot! The hot tub was great, the kitchen was stocked, and the bed was super-comfy. The location is very quiet, with big trees. There is a nice deck for eating breakfast. I felt very welcome. It was so nice to have everything easy and comfy after a day of biking and paddle boarding! I would definitely stay here again.
Emily has an amazing house very close to the lake. She is such a warm and welcoming host. She creates a great environment for people that might be in town for local athletic events. I was in town for a short time to do the Donner Lake Triathlon. She prepped some breakfast foods and was very accommodating for the early morning race. The hot tub was a great way to relax after the race. As a local she also has lots of insight and tips for my first race! I'll have to come back for a longer stay to enjoy more of Tahoe in the summer.
Emily was not home during our stay but instructions for us were well thought out. Sleep accommodations were modest and the rest of the house was comfortable albeit somewhat untidy. For the money, a pretty good value.
Cozy, clean, peaceful. Incredibly convenient to Northstar. Very thoughtful host.
Emily wasn't home when we were there, but she left clear instructions on how to get into the house and how to use the house's appliances. It's such a neat home with awesome wall art! Bed was comfy and blankets were warm enough. We didn't use the kitchen since we had our meals planned already, but she kept breakfast foods and beer in the fridge should we want to use them. Thanks for letting us stay!
My mother, sister, and I loved our stay! The neighborhood is peaceful and close to the lake. Emily is such a wonderful and sweet host & her doggy is friendly, too. She even offered us coffee/tea and fruit for the drive back home. We will definitely be back. Thank you, Emily!
