Very nice place, matching description, clean and practical. Samantha provided a warm welcome and clear presentation. Location is perfect for people who like to enjoy Shida or Gongguan night markets, restaurants & small shops. Would recommend the place !
Our first time staying in a bnb and it was comfortable. Felt like we were putting up at a friend's place.
Apartment was clean and neat. Mattresses felt more like futons but still comfortable enough. Kitchenette was well equipped however, there wasn't a water dispenser (I think). So, we had to buy bottled water from the nearby 7-eleven for boiling/ drinking. MRT station (Taipower Building) was just a few minutes walk away which is always a plus. Apartment had 3 security doors prior to entry so it felt safe. Maybe we didn't explore far enough, but we didn't see any place opened for breakfast (unless you fancy microwave heaven food from 7-eleven).
Shida night market also just a stone's throw away! Good location!
Check in and out was easy peasy. Samantha was very nice to help us reserve a taxi out on our last day. Thanks!
Where to begin? Samantha is the best host we've ever had: quick, smart, helpful, kind, creative, just all-around awesome.
The flat was perfect for a couple, super clean, had everything we needed, contained a decent-sized and very firm bed, was close to an excellent night market, easily walkable to heaps of other stuff, and also all-around awesome.
We already started planning our next trip to Taipei and we'll hope to stay here again!
Staying Samantha's room will make you nice trip in Taipei.
Although room is located very close to the night market, it is very calm.
I strongly recommend you to choose Samantha's room.
Samantha is very nice and responsive. The apartment is clean and warm. And the location of the apartment is quite convenient to have delicious Taiwanese food and close to the metro station. I will choose Samantha's house again for my next trip to Taiwan. Thanks!

I've been traveling and living in different countries and cultures for the past 8 years, I've been working in tourism/ hospitality field in Asia to express my love to travel and to people who love traveling. After managing a boutique hotel in Beijing for 2 years, now i am back to my hometown Taiwan to have my family and expect to make travelers come to Taipei to feel like coming home. :)
Things i enjoy in life: Traveling, yoga, hiking, cooking and gardening.
After traveling to dozens of countries, Taipei is still one of my favorite cities in the world.
