The apartment is centrally located in the Grossbasel Schützenmattpark, a preferred residential area in Basel. Direct bus to the fair (ART, Baselworld, etc.) and direct tram links to the main station (lines 1 and 8) and in the Inner City (line 6). Nevertheless, absolutely quiet location on Herrengrabenweg, with birds singing in the morning, bushes, trees, bamboo , vine.
This ground floor apartment is part of a two-family house with direct access to the garden, patio and a garden pavilion with lighting and heating, which also invites you to sleep (in the wild heart of the city).
My wife and I had a really lovely time staying at Peter's wonderful place with our 2 year old son. The house is set in a very picturesque street, and that sets the scene for the rest of the place: cute garden out the back; artistically decorated house (wonderful Japanese style sliding doors); whatever you need in terms of kitchen stuff or wifi/ tv. Peter extremely kindly set up a cot for our son, which was so thoughtful. Plus he came round to check we had settled in, baring Easter chocolates - how kind is that?! Basel is a wonderful place, and the house is well appointed for either trips to the old town or popping to the zoo (that's what 2 year olds prefer!). I have wonderful images in my head of my short time in Basel, and Peter's wonderful place are a part of that. Many thanks, Peter!

Also super gelegen und trotzdem sehr ruhig.
Kann man weiterempfehlen.
Peter was very welcoming and the apartment was in perfect order and really convenient for us. We had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Basel close to the city centre.
Peter was very nice when receiving us and is very welcoming.
The house is very well located, with several bus stops and tram stops within 5 minutes walk to the city centre and train station.
It is also nice for children, with the Schützenmatt park next to the house, and child bed in the second bedroom.
To sum up, a very nice stay.
Peter is a very nice and kind host with a perfect communication. It is a very nice house as described and you have everything you needed. Even we couldn't meet him when we arrived, he were like with us all the time, recommended us what to see, where to go, where to dine and was always there when we asked or needed anything. I recommend the house behalf of him to every Airbnb user. Thank you Peter.
