Enjoy the beauty of our village and our new farmhouse apartment with 3 beds, den, & 1 1/2 bath, that sits on 93 acres of land with cross country ski and hiking trails, an organic farm with chickens and sheep, and a sugaring operation. 10 min from Waitsfield & Waterbury, and Only 20 minutes from Sugarbush, Mad River, Resorts & Montpelier, & 30-40 minutes from Stowe Mountain Resorts, Smuggler Notch, Bolton Valley, and Burlington

The space
The common house (a 3-bed apartment ) - was designed for residents as a place to gather together, eat together, and enjoy each other. It also has an attached air b and b 1 bedroom suite that can be rented out as well separately. It is part of our co-housing residential community that currently has 4 families living in the village. It was designed to have friends and family and guests visit, hold special events, classes and just chill. The house has two wraparound porches, light-filled rooms, vaulted ceilings, radiant heating, heat pumps, and a Wood-burning stove for ambiance and warmth.
The first floor has a modern kitchen with all new appliances, mudroom, half bath, an open dining room, and a large living room floor plan with french doors leading out to a large deck. The dining space is where we all gather for community dinners and also serves as our gaming area, as it is a ping pong table as well. We love sitting around the woodstove on a cold winter night, talking, playing charades, shmoozing, and just enjoying each other company.
The second floor has a full bathroom and 3 bedrooms. The first bedroom has a queen bed, the second bedroom has two twin beds, and the third small office/bedroom has two bunk beds and a desk. It also has a full family den with a queen-size sofa couch for additional sleeping, vaulted ceilings, birch wood floors, amazing light-filled rooms, and beautiful views. Wifi and off-street parking included.
Our winter home for the sheep is opposite the entrance to the house. They are a bit shy at first until they get to know you. During the warm months, they will be in our meadow chomping down on the grass. We have 93 acres of adjoining meadows, with organic.
