Guest House Sora is located in the Kunisada district of Yoshino Town. It is a region with a long history that appears in "Kojiki" and "Nihon Shoki". Kunisada, a craft village, is also known for its hand-woven Japanese paper and Yoshino cedar and Yoshino cypress chopsticks.
Jomihara Shrine, which can be reached on foot from the guest house, is a shrine quietly nestled in a rocky mountain overlooking the beautiful blue "Tenno Fuchi" of the Yoshino River, and is recommended as a walking course the morning after your stay.
Located right in the middle of the Kii Peninsula, it is close to the neighboring Higashiyoshino village, Kawakami village, and Kamikita village, and you can drive to Otaki Kebara in about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
We recommend playing in the river in the summer, but it's also great to aim for the waterfall basins, such as Tomoe no Taki Waterfall and Fudo Nanae Waterfall! It is also about a 30-minute drive to the trailhead of Mt. Takami, known for its winter fog and ice.
Unfortunately, there are few grocery stores or restaurants nearby. It is best to buy food before you come. There is a full kitchen, so I think you will enjoy cooking.
The room is next to the stairs, but the door is a wooden door with a lock. It is a relatively quiet room.

The space
All the rooms in the building are Japanese-style rooms with 4 tatami mats. Yuzu no Ma is an 8-tatami mat room on the second floor, with up to 3 futon sets available, and it is lockable.
On the second floor, there is also a 6-tatami-mat room and a 6-tatami-mat private room. The boundary with the next room is a simple partition.

The toilet and bathroom are only on the first floor (shared), so I recommend the first floor room for those with bad legs. There are many steps in the building and it is not barrier free. Please understand.

Guest access
Parking is available for up to 4 cars in the uncovered space next to the building. Please let me know in advance if you have a large number of cars.

During your stay
If you have any requests, such as information on Yoshino alcohol, restaurants, or people you want to meet in Yoshino, we will always be happy to help! Please let me know.

Other things to note
There are almost no shops where you can buy groceries, etc., or restaurants nearby, including convenience stores. Please come after stocking up.
