About this listing
Welcome to my Delightful newly renovated loft in the heart of historic St. Lorenzo in Rome. The flat is on the ground floor and consists of large kitchen equipped with everything you need, comfortable living room with TV (wi-fi for internet) and French windows overlooking the inner courtyard, bathroom with shower (washing machine included), sleeping loft with double bed, central heating. Characteristic vaulted stone.
Very easy to reach from the International airport of Fiumicino Leonardo da Vinci (a direct train or a Bus leaves you in Termini Train Station which is 10 minutes far from my house) The Main Attractions of the Eternal City of Rome are both walking and buses/subway distances.
During the day the neighborhood is quite, with its art galleries, shops and craft workshops and at night becomes a colorful mix of bars and restaurants with a very nice pedestrian square (Piazza dell'Immacolata) where you can enjoy live music performances in Summer or have a look at different type of outdoor handicraft shops.
So much could be said about Rome but the best way is to experience directly the Charm and Mistery of the Eternal City of Rome..especially in Summer.
It will be a pleasure for me to host You with all the Comforts you need in my Cozy Loft so to make you feel like HOME..in Rome..

Had a fantastic stay at Claudia's apartment in San Lorenzo. Such a lovely home in a great part of town. So many nice restaurants and good bars in the area, and was also incredibly easy to get around to other areas of interest in the City.
Claudia as a host was brilliant - very accommodating, and great recommendations for the local area!
The apartment too was the same, very clean and more than enough space for 2 people.
Wouldn't hesitate to return for another trip - couldn't recommend it enough.
Claudia and Antonio were the best hosts I ever had in my life !
The apartment is located in a peaceful and quiet suburban area (but animated by close restaurants and bars) close enough for all the attractions by underground and bus.
Claudia's friendliness and hospitality made the stay wonderful!
She was an exceptional host, nothing was too much trouble and she was ever so nice waiting for me despite my flight being hugely delayed and me arriving in the middle of the night!
Claudia and Antonio gave me suggestions of things to do/see, and show me everywhere of interest on a map provided in the apartment. It helped me greatly. I even had some time to go out with them in "the real Italian places" of Rome and the night was super super cool !
I could not have dreamed of better place to stay and I surely will come back there!!
Thank you again!
The flat of Claudia is very cosy and central in Rome. Nice neighbourhood with good restaurants. Claudia is a good host, very uncomplicated and easygoing. Would defintely recommend her place in Rome!
Our stay at Claudia's and Antonio's was nice. The apartment is spacious and has a good layout. The bed is located in a loft, so it is ideal to rent this place as an 'entire place' if you are looking for privacy.
What I liked about the neighborhood is that it was not very touristy, we met some locals, drank and ate at local spots and felt like we experienced life as a Roman (in the 21st century). Along with that authenticity does mean that the location is outside of the main hub. The house was a 15 minute walk to the Tremini train station, where the tourist stops can be accessed within 3-4 metro stops. All and all not bad, but if we did it again we would pay a little more a stay closer to the core and save the extra walking because you already do so much exploring.
Claudia was a wonderful host, very helpful and sweet. She gave me a lot if information and the house was very clean and lovely, and in the trendy neighborhood of San Lorenzo. About 30 minutes walk to centro where the colloseum and paletine hill are located. Also right next to the last remains of the ancient wall around the city. Every morning had cappuccini and croissants at the San Lorenzo cafe and there was a great macrobiotic restaurant around the corner, un punto macrobiotico. Overall everything was fantastic!
Claudia was a great host and went into detail about how everything works. We had the entire home to ourselves but we did get to meet Antonio who was very nice. They were even gracious enough to welcome us with a bottle of champagne since we were celebrating our honeymoon.
The space is large, clean, and excellent for 2-4 people. We had everything we needed for our four nights in Rome. She even provided a helpful map and highlighted some of the key places we should visit.
The area isn't the posh part of Rome but there were many great affordable restaurants, and because of the proximity to the universities, there's plenty of bars and nightlife. We didn't feel unsafe walking to termini, but it's not the cleanest part of Rome or full of tourists. Walking to termini was about 15 minutes and wasn't a problem with 3 suitcases between the two of us. We did miss the bus to the Vatican, and a taxi from termini to the Vatican was 12€. In fact we never paid more than 13€ to get back to the house. Spanish steps and he coliseum are both walking distance away (30-40 minutes)
I would definitely recommend Claudia's home to anyone looking to stay in Rome, especially if you need to be by the university.
The appartment is a short walk (10-15 min) from Termini railway station.
Claudia is a very nice and welcoming person, full of information and suggestions about what to do and see.
The appartment is clean, trendy and charming.
Claudia lives in the basement and has to pass through on her way in and out. She also uses the kitchen to a certain degree, which was no problem to us, because she did that mostly when we where somewhere else. However, this makes it more of a shared appartment.
