The towering marble ceilings of the lobby exude the elegance of downtown living.

We had a nice stay in Memphis in this apartment. It was very clean and furnished as shown, and the view is fantastic! It was fun being able to figure out where we were going to go downtown by looking out the window!! It's in an older building, so there are some quirks (switches turning off random outlets, the front door not opening well from the outside even when it's open, only one elevator working, etc.) The check-in process was not what we expected...we communicated with Nina when we were 15 minutes out, only to then be met outside the building by a man in a security uniform who said that he helped Nina and did we want him to jump in our car to show us the parking structure? Not what you want to hear as 2 females at 10pm in a new city. David, as it turned out, is the security person for the apartment building and he turned out to be a really nice guy and a great asset to us during our stay, but the lack of communication from Nina put us both in an awkward spot. Called Nina when we had no internet and no cable the night we arrived...Comcast had been there working on it earlier in the day, and we know how that goes...but when it wasn't resolved, I called Sardor, who is AWESOME and had everything handled and working within 30 minutes as promised. Once these issues were fixed, this apartment was awesome. It was super, super clean, had great hot water for showers, and had body wash/shampoo/conditioner in the shower. There was a lot of space for the 2 of us. The bedroom is a funky shape with not a lot of space on one side, but it works. Parking was a couple minute walk away, which was important because we drove to Graceland ($10 parking) and Sun Studio (free parking in an alley in the back). It was about a 15 minute walk to the National Civil Rights Museum and 5 minutes to Beale. It's well located and we never felt like we weren't safe walking around late at night. One of the best places in Memphis to have breakfast is the Blue Plate Café, which is right in the same building! Also, there is a Walgreens on the same block as the apartment. This is on the top floor of the building, and the coin laundry is on the same level, along with the gym...calling this a gym is a stretch...I wouldn't work out there. But the laundry was not crowded and there were plenty of machines. The kitchen has a coffee maker that we used, as well as plates and cups and a wine opener, etc. I don't know if I would cook Thanksgiving dinner here, but it worked for what we needed...making some cocktails and coffee and heating up leftovers. Overall, we had a very good experience and we would stay here again!
Host was very welcoming and helpful, the space was not exactly as furnished as we would have liked. The location was excellent and river view as promised, but the room was exceptionally cold and cable/wireless needed work. A recommendation, with reservations.
Great location, great apartment, great hosts. Neatly located in downtown Memphis, everything you need is in walking distance. We stayed for nearly a whole week while attending a conference at the Sheraton.
I'd also recommend the apartment especially to European visitors - this may be exactly what you are looking for.
The apartment was spacious with a great view in a central location. The host is still renovating the property, so there were a few amenities lacking, but overall it's a terrific value.
Sardor's brother and Charlie offered excellent for a great property! We booked very last minute, and they were extremely understanding when it came to check out time. The place is a fantastic location and the view was stunning! Thanks!
The place was great, it had an amazing view and was really clean. The check in process was a little bit of a hassle. I would use the service again and would rent from Sandor next time I am in Memphis.
I enjoyed my stay. The place is clean and comfortable in this old building.
There is a lot of space to sit, work and eat around the building in perfect location : downtown. The pictures reflect the appartment layout. Internet works perfectly and is fast. Bathroom is huge and accommodated me. I loved the neighbours very close to Beal street (3 blocks). Check-in process was reactive. Most existing is this fantastic view on Missippi river. Thanks again sardor!
Sardor met us in the lobby of the building when we arrived and gave us the key. Great apartment in downtown location, only minutes walk from Beale street etc. Parking was also very convenient. I would highly recommend this place if you are staying in Memphis as the location is almost unbeatable.
We enjoyed our stay. The building is older, but you cant beat the location and the view.
The view and the location of this apartment are great!
