  • Alexis and Mark were wonderful hosts. We only had the chance to chat with them briefly, and they were both incredibly nice.
Everything was very uncomplicated, and the room was a perfect place to rest.

  • My partner and I loved Alexis and Mark's charming, eclectic home and our cheerful room for the weekend! The house is only a few blocks from the Commons and convenient to everything Ithaca has to offer. Alexis and Mark were gracious hosts, friendly yet easy-going. And they have a super sweet dog! The room was lovely, clean, and cozy and came with our own personal Brita pitcher. Very affordably priced as well - we'll definitely stay here again!

  • First time using Airbnb: Stayed at Alexis & Mark's house for an Open House at Cornell. They're extremely welcoming and friendly, and their house is super comfy. Next time I come back to visit Ithaca, I'll definitely stay at there place again!

  • I wanted a weekend away to study for my board exams - this was perfect. Communication was easy and immediate. Arrangements were made so that I could check in anytime (big plus for my schedule!). They left a great map with clear instructions and suggestions so I could figure out where I was in relation to everything. The room was just as described and the location was more than I could have asked for. I walked everywhere - it was either 5-10 minutes and when I rounded the corner to get to the house - it was as if there were "city" activity anywhere close. It was quiet - the room had a lot of natural light and in the evening the lights made the room feel very cozy. I took an amazing bath in that bathtub! I felt safe. The kitchen had a great selection of tea/coffee - I helped myself and felt at home. The parking on alternate sides of the street was confusing but that is only during the fall to April months.

  • My daughter and I had a great experience with Alexis and Mark. Unfortunately we were very weary travelers by the time we arrived, so didn't interact much with our hosts, just very appreciative to find a wonderful room, comfortable bed and fantastic bathroom when we arrived! Their home is great and very welcoming in it's decor. We only stayed one night, it met our needs perfectly!

  • Although I only had a short stay with Alexis and Mark, I really enjoyed meeting them. Their home was hip and clean, and they gave us some great pointers on places to eat, which we really appreciated.

  • Alexis and Mark have a great little house and arranged a perfect stay for our visit to Ithaca. It's really a unique, charming home with and the guest room and bathroom are very cozy. Nice departure from a bland hotel and quite a good value proposition as well. Overall, worked great for us for a 2-day visit to Cornell's campus. We would definitely return.
