  • House of Happy!!!

I absolutely loved Ithaca and Mark and Alexis' house has sooooo much charm! What a lovely little town and great place to stay. Mark and Alexis were super nice and cool to talk to and were happy to help me in anyway I needed, with directions and things to do.
The people in Ithaca are really friendly, the town is so cute and it's a great base for exploring some of upstate NY's best nature reserves and hikes. The pictures of the home don't do it justice, it's so much nicer in real life! The bed was really comfortable and there was a lot of privacy. I had the nicest time and hope to visit again soon.

    Thanks heaps Alexis and Mark!!!

  • An awesome place, right in the heart of Ithaca! We were especially fond of the turtles (don't worry, they aren't in your room), and the awesome kitchen. The ceiling fan was also a plus :) I recommend this place without reservation!

  • Room was very nice and clean, and the location is great to get around Ithaca. Even though they were out of town, Alexis and Mark were easy to get in touch and made the stay very easy. Everything felt very professional and I'd definitely stay here next time I come up to Ithaca.

  • Cosy room in a charming, eclectic home in the center of town. I would definitely stay here again next time I'm in Ithaca.

  • We enjoyed our stay. Very clean and nicely decorated room with a solid bed. Parking was on-street close by with a shared bathroom down the short hall. Only about a five minute walk to the commons. Noise in the house was minimal when we stayed though it's an older home and the floors creaked a little so as a light sleeper, I was woken up at times. Would definitely stay here again for the central location to the Ithaca Commons and reasonable price. We loved the turtles in their adorable tank on the first floor as well!!

  • Ithaca was the last leg of our upstate tour and we felt that the stay at Alexis and Mark's place really completed our Ithaca experience! The house is super cute, well decorated, quirky, and artsy. Our check-in was super easy! And although the neighborhood felt a little strange getting in, the location is actually super central to everything we wanted to check out; Ithaca Commons (the busy shopping area) as well as Buttermilk falls (a gorgeous hike). Alexis knows a lot about the area and was always available for questions. And even though we shared the house with people, we always felt like we had our own privacy. All-in-all the stay was very pleasant and clean for a great price.

  • Great experience staying with Alexis and Mark! They were very helpful and cheerful throughout my entire stay, even before I got there (through messaging). Needed an iron, they got it out for me. Needed to take the bus, they found a route for me and provided a bus pass. The dog is very laid back and to himself.

The room was exactly as specified and I had zero problems. The house seems to be on the outskirts of downtown, and everything is a short 5-10min walk. Really nice location.
