LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!!! Clean, comfy, well stocked up - a real HOME AWAY FROM HOME!
I would like to invite you to freshly renovated, great 1 bedroom apartment in the heart of the hottest NYC neighborhoods - LONG ISLAND CITY ❤️
APARTMENT LAYOUT AND AMENITIES:
❤️ The apartment is located on a quiet block in heart of LIC. It has two rooms - one bedroom, one living room, long hallway, a bathroom and a kitchen.
❤️ There is a queen bed and a sofa in the bedroom, and two full futon beds in the living room available for your convenience. Perfect for parents with two or three children or even for 2 couples with an extra friend. Perfect for 5 friends coming together or for a group of people that works together or is in town for business :)
There are two dressers in the bedroom and one in the living room as well as two bookshelves.
❤️ Kitchen is fully stocked with the coffee maker, microwave, toaster, George Foreman grill and all kinds of utensils and spices.
❤️ The bathroom is fully stocked with ALL KINDS OF COSMETICS, SHAMPOOS, 2 HAIR DRYERS, IRON AND CLEANING SUPPLIES. There is a shower and the tub.
❤️ I DO PROVIDE THE TOWELS AND SHEETS.
❤️ We have a very high speed WIFI available ❤️
ABOUT THE NEIGHBORHOOD:
❤️ Very sunny, convienently located right across of MOMA PS1 museum, which is a really hot spot for the summer LIVE PARTIES AND CONCERTS.
❤️ 1minute walk to 3 major subways - 7,E,M, one stop away from 42nd st- Grand Central station or 51st/Lex Ave.
❤️ So you are in the middle of NYC in just 5 minutes!
There is also a G train that can take you to Greenpoint, Williamsburg or anywhere in Brooklyn.
So you are in the middle of The City in just 5minutes!
❤️ LIC is simply the best place to stay in the whole city, and trust me, I have lived in 10 neighborhoods in Brooklyn, Queens and Manhattan. I live in LIC for the last 8y and I am not planning on moving anywhere else!
❤️ GREAT FEATURE ABOUT LIC BY AIRBNB:
❤️ Many other ads will say "10 minutes to Manhattan" but it's NOT TRUE.
LIC is the closest area to the city center. That's a guarantee!
Just look at the map and type the zip code 11101, THE HOTTEST ZIP CODE IN THE CITY.
❤️The Lonely Planet magazine which is a number one Tourist Magazine called LIC THE BEST DESTINATION TO GO IN 2014!!!
Developers here are currently building luxury condos and rental apartments one after another, and new restaurants and all other kinds of retail open every single week.
❤️ You can take a cab from midtown to LIC and it will cost you around $10-15.
If you want to rent a place in Greenpoint, you are stuck in there because of the subway line voted worst train ever - G, and cab one way to the closest point in the city will cost you at least $25.
Williamsburg also puts you lower on the map relatively to the entire Manhattan, and you will waste more time in the subways commuting. But LIC is in the center of EVERYTHING!
❤️I would be more than happy to show you around LIC or help you to get around in the city, give the best tips and help with anything you will need.
❤️ I have a lot of friends in the whole building, and they are extremely friendly and helpful people in case you wouldn't be able to reach me for any help or advice (which I don't think would happen, as I always pick up my cell, or text back).
HOW TO GET TO THE APARTMENT:
❤️ Best way to get to the apartment:
- very easy access to JFK airport by E train And Air Train (good deal for 2-3people/grown ups traveling together)
- JFK $45 by yellow cab (better deal money wise and easier if you are traveling with kids)
- 15-20 cab from LGA airport (there is no subway from LGA and I don't advise you to take the bus).
❤️ If there is 5 people traveling - please get the bigger yellow cab at the airport - the airport taxi dispatchers will help you :)
❤️ If you drive there is Queensborough Bridge and Midtown Tunnel that both take you to Manhattan - only 5 blocks drive away from the apartment.
❤️ Pulaski Bridge is located only 4 blocks away and it takes you to Greenpoint/Brooklyn/BQE.
❤️There is a parking right in front of the building or on the adjacent streets, or a guard parking few blocks away, which charges $15 per 24h.
❤️The building is a pre-war building with a great heating and strong AC. I keep the place well maintained and ultra clean. I travel a lot and I understand the needs of travelers. I love being a host, and I am very enthusiastic about the entire Airbnb idea.
❤️ I always meet and greet my guests upon their arrival.

First of all, the apartment was awesome and clean. The heat was perfect. Everything you need is there ! The kitchen is fully complete. Eveything is there to cook a nice meal! But, most of all, Olivia is a wonderful host. We arrived in NYC around midnight, and she was waiting for us. She gave us the most information we need. She's always available and happy to help if you need anything ! Seriously, I will book again! Thank you Olivia! You are awesome :-)
I stayed with my wife and 2 adolescents children at Beata's place for almost one week, and it was quite a good experience to have her as our host. To begin with, I was concerned about a comment regarding the appt heater from a previous guest. I asked her about it before renting the place, and her repply proved to be right: the heater worked just fine and we have no issues. Just upon our arrival we pointed Beata out a few and minor issues about the appartment furniture and she reacted immediately for working them out and buying what was missing for making it a better place. Beata has a great attitude and is eager to be a good host, she is openes to listen to comments and do whatever necessary for enjoying your time at her apartment. The place is comfortable, though and though the neighboourhood is not that charming to me, it is quite convenient having 2 metro and train stations within 5 minutes walking distance. Thank you Beata!
Our host was awesome!! She was very helpful and welcoming! The location was perfect as well as the apartment! Super close to the subway but far enough from the crazy city to enjoy your stay! The apartment was stocked and very clean! I would highly recommend staying here to anyone wanting to visit NYC!
Our family of 5 spent 1 week over new year in NYC in this apartment. It is a small, two room apartment, with a kitchen and bathroom. Everything is as described in the pictures presented by Beata.
As she says, it is good for 4-5 persons, but not more than that. The location in Long Island City is truly fantastic. It is a short walk (5-8 minutes) to the closest Subway station, and you are transported to the center of Manhattan in a few minutes. Grand Central Station or Times Square are less than 10 minutes away!
We never got the privilege to meet Beata in person, since she was in Europe over the Christmas holiday.
But, even so, she kept in touch over SMS and e-mail, and helped us to get in touch with the person who had the keys and could let us in.
During our stay Beata kept in touch and wanted to make sure we were OK. Her concern for our wellbeing is very genuine and I can only give her the highest compliments.
The only negative thing we experienced during our stay was that the temperature in the apartment got cold during a few days. According to Beata this is not usual. Normally the temperature is high during the winter. She said that the heating system in the building recently has been updated, and normally this is not a problem.
Also, the TV sometimes had problems to get a stable picture. The antenna located on a shelf by the TV was very sensitive and was sometimes hard to position correctly in order to get a picture.
All in all, I gladly recommend both Beata and her apartment to anyone who wants to spend some time in New York.
