Interaction with Guests
Roberto, or occasionally a trusted person, will give the keys and give all the information on the apartment and about the district
The apartment is located in the old part of Trastevere. Trastevere is rione XIII of Rome, on the west bank of the Tiber, south of Vatican City. Its name comes from the Latin trans Tiberim, meaning literally "beyond the Tiber".
Nowadays, Trastevere maintains its character thanks to its narrow cobbled streets lined by medieval houses. At night, both natives and tourists alike flock to its many pubs and restaurants. However, much of the original character of Trastevere remains.
Today, Trastevere still maintains its character thanks to the winding streets covered with cobblestones which is overlooked by medieval houses. The night is filled with people, both Italian and foreign, thanks to the wealth of restaurants and pubs for every price range.
It is one of the most lively, characteristic and self-sufficient city. It offers typical Roman restaurants and pizzerias as well as cinemas, markets (San Cosimato renovated just recently), banks, pharmacies, supermarkets, shops of every kind and elegant shops"The area is also home to John Cabot University, a private American University, the American Academy in Rome, and the Rome campus of the Thomas More College of Liberal Arts, the Canadian University of Waterloo School of Architecture (between the months of September and December), and the American Pratt Institute School of Architecture therefore serving as home to an international student body.
The unique character of this neighborhood has attracted artists, foreign expats, and many famous people.

Excellent host.....very organised & helpful....the apartment was beautifully appointed and vey clean......it was in a lovely quiet area but close to all the things that Trastevere is known for ....good restaurants, cafes etc....lots of steps and walking however so keep that in mind if that is a problem
Our Trastevere Cottage was the perfect spot for a getaway in Rome. Of all areas we visited in Rome this was our favorite neighborhood. A lot of activity and liveliness surround this area, but the serenity of the cottage if the best place to retreat to at night.
Roberto was the perfect host. He met us promptly, was thorough in helping us understand the area and was extremely easy to communicate with during the entire process. We will certainly look to Roberto the next time we take a Roman holiday.
A perfectly charming cottage 2minutes from the delightful Trastevere area & easy walk to all main attractions. Roberto's suggestions for restaurants were invaluable. He was a gracious host! We just loved it all
We stayed at this lovely, charming, peaceful cottage in the heart of Trastevere just two days ago. Wonderful place to start of our 2 week holiday in Italy.... Roberto was the perfect host, connecting and following through so that we felt secure about arriving and being able to find the property and meet him. He gave us the highlights of the area and even checked in to make sure all was well..and it was. The cottage is tucked away in a private area so it is very quiet and has a charming patio to relax...the lodging itself is cozy, well equipped and is in a great area...easy access to other popular Rome locations! Thank you Roberto...we will be sure to recommend this to our friends!
Roberto was such a fantastic and helpful host. He guided us through maps of Rome and gave great restaurant recommendations. The apartment was very charming. We especially loved spending evenings in the outdoor space! Trastevere is such a fun and vibrant neighborhood and this apartment is nuzzled right in the heart of it. Perfect location and neighborhood. Would stay here again! Thanks for your hospitality Roberto! We enjoyed our stay at your wonderful apartment.
We (family of 4 with 2 kids) had a most wonderful stay here.
Centrally located, near daily fresh produce market, in the vicinity of restautants, set in a peaceful and quiet alley, the appartement was just perfect for us.
Thanks Roberto for your useful advice and overall help.
Grazie Roberto
