Old New England home with character!
Large south-facing room with four windows and a queen bed. Lee is an ideal location to enjoy the friendly, creative, intelligent and networked community that is the Berkshires. You can walk to the town of Lee which has restaurants and cafes, and is on the local and long distance bus routes. Close to Kripalu (6 miles) and in the summer so many great venues including Tanglewood, Berkshire Theatre, Shakespeare and Company, Jacob's Pillow. Great outdoor activities include hiking, biking, skiing and many cultural events in the small towns of the Berkshires. High speed wireless, on street parking, porch and yard. Home is quiet, bright, 115 years old with "character" and a happy vibe:) I am easy going, have traveled and like meeting new people. Breakfast not included. Please note there are steps up from the street, then more steps to the house, and then a staircase to the bedroom:)

Lee has a small town, community feeling and is great for walking and exploring. Neighborhood is very safe!
Limited local bus service. The long-distance bus stop is only one block away and there is twice daily service to Boston and NYC.
Other Things to Note
Close to Lee Volunteer Fire Department and occasionally siren can be heard when they are called up. Parking is on the opposite side of street. Home is on a hill with two sets of steps to access. Occasionally I receive phone calls and need to go out during the night because of my nursing work. The room is separated by a door to the guest wing, and likely you will not be disturbed.

Originally from London, I grew up in Dublin and have lived in the US for over 30 years. In my twenties, I travelled widely and at times it feels like coming full circle as the culture and people of the Berkshires remind me of Dublin. I work as a hospice nurse and am very grateful for good friends and community.
