Hello! My name is Fabrizio, i live in a flat in Rome in the residential quarter Portuense. Perhaps you are planning your holidays. Have you thought of spending a few days in Rome? Would you like to enjoy the beauties of the everlasting town? I have something that will suit you: my house!
It is situated in a compound surrounded by the green natural reserve of the "Valle dei Casali". Even if it is not far from the center of the town, here you can feel to be living out of the city. It is noiseless, you can experience the best relax after a sightseeing day around museums and monuments. You will be awaken by the chirping of birds.
The apartment is at the third floor with a lift. It is composed of two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living-room and a kitchen. The furniture is essential and of good taste.
The bedroom where you are going to stay are supplied with a double divan-bed (new), a wardrobe, a night-table and a desk. There are also a lot of compact-discs, you are allowed to listen to them. The room is provided with a private bathroom.
A roomy kitchen is completely available: there is a 4 fires stove, an electric oven and a microwave, a kettle and a dishwasher, there is a table for the meals, everything you need for your cooking is at your disposal: crockery, cutlery, oil, sugar, butter, etc. You can also prepare a good coffee or a tea.
In the main bathroom you'll find a washing-machine you could use, in my presence; in your room you'll find all towels, sheets and blankets for your necessities, hair dryer and obviously soap and toilet paper; both (towels and sheets) will be changed twice a week.
The best means of transport to reach the street where i live is the car: there is a large parking-car available to you. If you have no car, shops for all necessities, bus-stops to reach the town-center and those to reach the Metro are at ten minutes on foot.
Compatibly with my work (luckily I have much free time), during your staying I can give you a lift to/from the nearest Metro station or to/from number 8 tram (no additional cost). Also at your arrival or your departure, in exchange for a small reimbursement for petrol, i shall be able to catch you or bring you at Fiumicino airport or at Ciampino airport.
At your arrival you'll find a complete guide of Rome at your disposal and useful information about the means of transport.
My house is not far from Villa Pamphili one of the most beautiful and large park in Rome; Porta Portese the very famous second-hands objects market (clothes, furniture, etc); Viale Marconi and Viale dei Colli Portuensi are two streets useful for your shopping; Viale Trastevere, where you will find many typical restaurants and many local and where it is very pleasant to walk during the summer evenings.
If you need to control your E-mail and look for Internet information a network Wi-Fi is available. In the living room there is a printer that you can use if you need to print tickets and reservations.
In your room there is a portable air conditioner with water function; anyway, since the room facing east, is affected by the sun only in the morning and because the flat is surrounded by a lot of green and it is always cool.
Interaction with Guests
My work is quite flexible regarding times (usually i work in the afternoon) and this allows me to have a lot of free time. I like to share some time with my guests, have a chat at breakfast, give advice on the visits and the city, facilitate their travel, dine together, this obviously respecting their privacy, their schedules and their needs and desires. I can speak a little English and a little French. During your staying i will do my best to let you enjoy your holidays and satisfy all your needs.
My apartment is part of a condominium with a large shared garden, with various types of plants and tall trees and many parking spaces. Immediately behind the complex there is a nature reserve, home to foxes, hedgehogs, weasels and many species of birds (blackbirds, kestrels, pheasants, sparrows, parrots) that can be easily spotted. Not far away, about a 10 minute walk, you reach the two main streets where there are all the services and shops. You will find supermarkets, a bank, bars, tobacco shops, a pizzeria, a patisserie, an Asian restaurant, a pharmacy and many other stores. Also there are bus stops that allow you to reach the center or the metro. Mine is a residential neighborhood, inhabited mostly by families of Roman origin and my apartment enjoys a exclusive location for its proximity to the nature reserve, the quiet and the view of the green.
The house rules are those governing the proper use of energy resources and those needed to ensure a pleasant and respectful coexistence, making sure, however, rely on your good education and your maturity.
In particular you must:
Do not make noise at night (after 11 pm) and early afternoon (from 2 to 4 pm).
Remember to close the throttle after you have finished cooking.
Turn off lights and appliances when not at home.
No smoking inside, but only on the living room's balcony.
Do not get other people in the apartment.
Keep clean and tidy in common spaces, and your room upon your departure.
Not to cause damage to environments, furniture and objects (please pay attention to your luggage!).
It 'better to eat in the kitchen and not walk with shoes inside the house.
I and my friend Anna was at Fabrizio's apartment 3 nights. The apartment very- very clean, comfortable, nice and quiet. The location a little far from the center, but good - Fabrizio meet us on the car near the metro station and always was ready to took away us every time if he was free. Fabrizio was very friendly and gave for us a lot of good advices. When we needed go to the airport - Fabrizio drove us for minimal payment. Fabrizio very interesting conversationalist and intellegent person. Thank you Fabrizio!
So you can see by all of his reviews that he is fantastic. I had great conversations with Fabrizio and he was supremely helpful. We shared a meal the first night, the next I introduced him to my cooking style (easy but interesting). He dropped us off and picked us up from/to the metro station. The room is clean as well as the apartment with a bathroom in the room. The neighborhood is safe and sucre. Far from center but their are ways to get there. I recommended Fabrizio.

The place is not in the centre of the city, howerer Fabrizio usually takes me to metro, so it was not a problem. The house is surronded by park, in the morning i could notice the parrots there. The room is clean, the bad is comfortable, the separate bathroom is also good.

We enjoyed our stay at Fabrizio's place. The apartment is very nice and clean. It is situated in a beautiful place surrounded by a park. The area is very quite and green. Although the apartment is a little bit far from the centre, Fabrizio was very kind to take us to and meet us by his car at the metro every day. He is a welcoming host and always ready to help. I would recommend you to stay at his place in Rome.
Piękny duży, wygodny, bardzo czysty pokój z łazienką. Czysta, pachnąca pościel i ręczniki. Wszystko czego potrzebujesz.
Great days in here. Room is clean and nice location. Not close to Center but quiet, peaceful and full of green. I think Fabrizio could take a ride you to Metro station. At day you could enjoy the Roma with many tourist and at night you can take a rest at his peaceful & beautiful apartment. Fabrizio is so nice host. kind, intelligent, friendly. You can have a great holy day in here I bet. Definitely recommendation!
The apartment is in safe area, may be a little far from the centre, however, Fabrizio picked us up at the station, drove us to the metro station everyday and give us many useful recommendation that only local Italians know. The room looks even more beautiful than the picture, clean and comfortable. Highly recommend for anyone want to visit Rome.
My name is Fabrizio and I was born in Rome. I am a friendly, polite, helpful person. I have a musical and legal education, I studied piano at the conservatory and I deal mostly music. But I also have many other interests, I like to play sports, take photographs, to see a film at the cinema and hear a concert, enjoy the city day and night. And a few years my passion is the Argentine tango.
I like to relax at home too and I want my guests to feel the same way, at ease, trying to meet their needs, whether they are old friends or new acquaintances. I think that to have a pleasant coexistence is needed right balance between the moments of sharing of common spaces and experiences, and moments of privacy.
I love traveling, meeting places, cultures, traditions, fill the eyes and senses for new sensations and I hope that this site will give me new opportunities to do so and to meet new interesting people, because although there are many things that unite us and make us similar, each one is an individual with its own history, a different vision of life and personal experiences to tell and we can always learn something.
