Dreamed of waking up with view on the Atomium or enjoy sunrise and sunset with a glass of wine on the balconies? Then this is the place!

For the shoppers, Rue Neuve, the biggest shopping street is 5 minutes away. There you will find a big supermarket, a smaller one can be found 8 minutes away.

For the higher fashion and design, Rue Antoine Dansaert is 15 min walk. A 10 minutes metro ride brings you to Louise and its chic high-street shops.

North Station is minutes walk away (12' train ride to the airport) and a metro station Yser is 100 meters away, (15' metro ride from South Station).

You cant beat the 360* view over Brussels.

Best place to enjoy ever changing sunset and sunrise.

Magical skies...

FOR THE SMOKERS - possible to smoke outside on the covered balconies, not in the flat. Smoking with a view and ventilated - what can be better? ;-)

HELIPORT 1 - between Utopia and History.

This area has a glorious past as a place for "rendez-vous" of the elegant society of the Capital (Leopold the 1st - first Belgian King - did here his "Joyeuse Entree" in 1830) and has lived a succession of utopias starting with the construction of the first public European train station in 1835. A century later the traveling traffic slew down and the station was closed, making room for the Second Utopia. On the occasion of the Brussels Universal Expo of 58, the Sabena Heliport is build in the city center: on March 3 1957, the first European passenger helicopter takes off until 1966. Following the closure of the heliport, this area is abandoned for a few years, but in 1989, another utopia see the day here : the only animal farm in a city center opens its door.

It is today part of North/Canal/Thurn & (email hidden) shared by theaters, clubs, expos, leisure and new homes.

Jean was an excellent host and I would recommend his apartment to any family and friends visiting Brussels.

Jean’s apartment is a treasure for the eyes. There is always some gem to look at and some great book to pick up. The apartment also has two terraces that have a breathtaking view on the city. You can choose to enjoy a nap in a hammock or to relax with a coffee at hand while appreciating the sunrise. The apartment has everything you need to be comfortable and some much appreciated extras (hairdryer, sound system, makeup remover, etc.) The apartment is situated right next to the metro, and is also close to the train station. As for Jean, he has been a most welcoming host. He took the time to give us a scenic tour of the city from the balcony, and went out of his way to provide us with specific recommendations for what we could do in the city. He is clearly passionate about his city and wanting to share this passion with those in for a visit. He is warm, welcoming, and readily available to provide support if needed (he is the neighbour!). Overall, we had a great stay at Jean’s apartment.

Jean's apartment is one of the most amazing we have stayed in. 18 floors up with almost 360 degree views out over Brussels. You can idenify many of the key landmarks from the balconies. Great communication and information. Listening to the farm animals down below was an interesting contrast to the other sounds of a busy city. Many thanks Jean.

Then apartment was clean and it had great views of the city on both sides of the building. It had all the basic necessities to make our short visit more enjoyable. Jean was easy to communicate with and was right there to welcome us upon our arrival.

We had a wonderful stay here for 2 weeks. We were a family of 5 and had plenty of space for everyone. Shower was great, plenty of hot water. Kitchen was well stocked, and we enjoyed making breakfast at home. we rented a car and used street parking when available, if not, Jean let us use his garage. Great location as well, 10 minute walk to grocery store, and to the center as well was a short walk. Jean gave us some good tips on what is new in Brussels, and was an excellent host. The decor in his home was unique and inspiring. Loved the guide books for the different cities in Belgium.

The apartment is amazing. Centrally located and only 10 minutes walk from most bars and restaurants (especially those in Ste Catherine). This was our second stay here and I'm sure we'll be back.

Jean's place has all you would need for a comfortable stay. It is cosy and warm. And we'll equipped. There is a shop at the base of the apartment block and a lovely patisserie nearby if you fancy a croissant. The apartment is a good walk to the Grand Platz and there are both Metro stations and supermarkets a walk away. Jean is extremely approachable and is available to answer questions if problems arise. It might have been nice to have a tv to keep in touch with the news. Otherwise can highly recommend this quirky comfortable place!
