This typically Parisian apartment, with mouldings and chimney, is ideal for a couple, and can host up to three persons (there's an additional single mattress for the living room).
The apartment is fully equipped (wifi, washing machine, dishwasher, blender), and has a private courtyard ideal for summer lunches.
You may want to know:
You can not sleep in total darkness but with the shutters closed, you shouldn't be woken by the sun either.
You can hear the metro from the apartment, but, as you can see from the comments, it has never bothered any of the guests.
The bathroom is in the bedroom (you have to enter the bedroom to go in the bathroom).
There is no AC but the apartment stays cool no matter what.
The tv set os not connected to the tv network, so you can't watch TV channels but I'll leave the cable to plug your computer, and you can plug your external hard drive.
Interaction with Guests
I mostly rent my apartment when I'm traveling, so I may not be there to welcome you. In that case, my neighbor (a airbnb host herself) will be the one to welcome you. In any cases, I'll be more than happy to recommend restaurants, bars, and secret spots to visit.
My apartment is in the neighborhood of Les Batignolles, one of Paris' last secrets: a "small village" with its daily market, its church square, its reknown garden and many authentic and cool restaurants.
Shops are open until 10pm!
You're at :
- 10 minutes away from Montmartre and the Moulin Rouge walking
- 10 minutes away from les Champs-Elysées taking the metro
- 15 minutes away from l'Opéra Garnier taking the bus or velib
You can easily go anywhere in Paris thanks to: 10 bus lines, the metro (La Fourche metro station is literally in front of my building and the Place de Clichy metro station is 5 minutes away).
Aline's apartment is exactly as described ; well decorated, comfy and well-located. she's been extremely receptive and kind to any question or request we had so far. I will recommend this place to anyone that want to spend some time in Paris !
This place is like a home away from home.
Thank you Aline !
Recomendable.
This experience has been very good to me and Silvia. The apartment was very nice and comfortable. And we found every thing we needed.
It was also very convenient because of the underground just in front of it.
Very charming apartment in a nice area! Would like to came back another time! Aline is a very god caretaker!
Aline's apartment was very nice. The courtyard was spacious and quiet. The nighbohood is one of the best kept sectets in Paris: interesting small streets, great cafés, some good vintage shops and yet a short distance from all that Montmartre has to offer. Aline is a warm host. We can highly recommend her.
