Drape yourself on the sundeck for stargazing and sun worshipping, lounge in our magical cowgirl pool (ours has a jet & a filtered pump!) …meditate or yoga with mats and cushions provided.
WonderSkies is a cozy, romantic house for two with a private bedroom. Extra guests can stay in the living room on the daybed sofa (new addition, not pictured yet!) or the inflatable queen bed with cotton linen bedding.

We are in a beautiful and tranquil location, yet 15 minutes the Joshua Tree National Park entrance and visitors center.
15 minutes from all of the restaurants, bars, and amenities of the city of Twentynine Palms. (Check out Kitchen in the Desert- amazing food & vibes!)
4 minutes from the wild, funky, and famous Palms Restaurant & Bar.
30 minutes to downtown Joshua Tree
If you want peace, quiet, wild desert, seclusion and amazing sunsets and stars, you've found the place. High Desert. Wonder Valley. It's magical. Located about 2 miles on a dirt road, You will feel as if you have the world to yourself on this spectacular stage.

The kitchen is stocked for cooking with beautiful dishes, gorgeous caraway pots and pans, utensils, table linens, coffee and tea.

GROCERIES AND FUEL:
Stop at Stater Bros in 29 Palms on Twentynine Palms Hwy on your way in for all of your cooking needs, beverages and sundries,
Or Aldi or Vons in Yucca Valley-
you will not want to leave once you get settled in at the property, trust us!
Also Make sure you are fueled-up. The nearest servicing station is 15 minutes away in town.
ABOUT THE WATER SUPPLY:
House is supplied by a water well. This water is NOT treated with chemicals like city water and just filtered through mesh screen filters. This water is similar to the water from a natural desert hot spring. We enjoy this water as it is clean and refreshing with natural minerals. But like tap water, please drink bottled water. There is a kitchen sink Pur filter if you choose.
FIREWOOD:
Also be sure to pick up firewood on your way out. There is a designated outdoor fire pit.
Please be careful because the wind can pick up quickly.
Please use the ash bucket provided, hose-if needed- is located on cabin wall.
We usually do have extra firewood to supplement what you bring.
DOGS:
If you plan to bring your dog, please note an additional $100 service fee will
be added. Please be sure to clean up after them and offer them a lot of water. If you walk outside of the fenced property, please keep your dog on a leash. There are coyotes, please be careful with your loved ones!
Release and Waiver of Liability
The Guest(s) understands that there are special risks involved in the use of hot tubs or pool or whirlpool tubs. Guest is aware there are potential dangers to children who are not carefully supervised, as well as any person using a hot tub or whirlpool tub or swimming pool too long or if a person has health risks, is intoxicated, using any kind of drugs or medication, or pregnant. Guest agrees to waive any claim whatsoever against Owners or other guests of property for accidents or injury arising from use of pool, hot tub or whirlpool tubs. Guest agrees that he/she is responsible and liable for any damages that occur to the pool, hot tub or whirlpool tub through their or their guest's misuse or negligence.
Guest also understand that this Release & Waiver of Liability irrevocably and unconditionally releases and holds harmless all Releases from any financial or other liability for any injury, bodily harm, sickness, illness, or loss of life that as a Guest or family member or friend may suffer and from any economic harm or loss of property occurring during, caused by, relating to, or arising in any way out of staying at this rental.
