The apartment was perfect! Location was ideal for exploring Paris, with a metro around the corner, and Rue Cler for eating and fresh food. We were in constant contact with Rufus and he met us at 10:30pm at the apartment to let us in and show us the features. Even when we lost the key, he was most helpful in getting the spare to us. Thankfully we recovered the key much to everyone's relief, and once again, Rufus came around to make sure our checkout was easy.
We stayed here in early March of 2015. Rufus sent us clear directions on how to get to the apartment, and met us at the apartment when we checked in. He gave us suggestions on where to eat and shop, and answered all of our questions. The location was great - just yards from Rue Cler and a Velib station. The restaurant directly across the street, Mariette, was the best one we ate at in Paris. We would definitely consider staying here again on a return trip.
I had a working week in Paris and the apartment was absolutely perfect. The apartment is on a quiet by-lane to the more lively Rue Cler where all you need is available. What you see on the pictures is what you get and Rufus is a very helpful host. I'll definitely come back when in paris next time.
We loved the location of the apartment. Very close to the metro, The Eiffel Tower, and Rue Cler which has many shops, cafes, and grocery stores. The apartment is newly renovated looks just like the pictures. The only issues we had were the cleanliness of apartment. It was a little neglected. Also, the apartment below us had two parties during our 7 night stay. The parties started at 11p and went until 6am. Other than that the building is fairly quiet. Rufus was a good host and let us check in early. He listened to our feedback with an open ear. Overall we loved our stay in Paris and felt safe as 2 American women.
Perfect place for few days in Paris.
Very close metro station and an amazing open market on the street just behind the studio build.
I recomend this place for who want feel at home.
The owners gave us all necessary support.
I do recomend this place!
Great apartment in such a great neighborhood. I love the all the cute little cafes in champ de mars. Rufus has been a good host, because we didn't plan to stay as long as we did in Paris, but when we want to extend our stay, Rufus came along by himself, he also a friendly host. Bottom line is, it was a really nice and unforgettable trip and stay in Paris.
My husband and I stayed at this apartment for 8 days for our honeymoon. If we were to go back to Paris, we would stay here again because of 3 main reasons:
1. Location: The apartment was close to the Ecole Militaire metro station, and it was right next to Rue Cler Market. It was convenient for us to move around, get dinner and do grocery shopping. But the best part about the location is that it's a walking distant to Eiffel Tower! My husband and I walked there back and forth whenever we felt like it.
2. Comfort: The place was very comfortable and it was exactly as shown in the photo. We were able to cook, watch tv, use hot shower, etc. We had such a lovely time there. However, it is not advisable for those who come in group of 4 pax as it may be a little too crowded. 2 pax is just nice.
3. Hospitality: Rufus was very kind, he shared some useful information on the public transportation 2 days before we flew to Paris. He made it easy for us to get to this apartment from the airport, and get around the city. He also gave us a list of places to eat and shop. Checking in and checking out was a smooth process.
So yes, we would definitely come back here for the 3 mains reasons! :)
We moved in the area of Gros Caillou in 2004 and we fell in love with it immediately. The neighborhood has so many things to offer, the grocery stores, the restaurants, the boutiques and the parks. We don't want to leave it with any price.
It is perfect for discovering Paris like a local. We hope you enjoy the place as much as we do.
