The house offers 2 bedrooms and 1.5 baths, a large living room overlooking the valley, sliding doors that allow for effortless indoor-outdoor living, and a pool area including a pool house that overlooks the gorgeous boulders that define Joshua Tree.

Highlights include:

The house is ideally suited to host 4 people. The pool house can host additional people for an extra fee. Please reach out to us directly to discuss.

*** If you would like to have the pool heated throughout your stay, please let us know at least a day before your check in. Payment must be completed ahead of your arrival. We cannot accommodate requests to heat the pool for just one day.

Other things to note
SMOKING

Smoking inside the property is strictly prohibited. A $300 fee will be charged for violations.

When smoking outside please be extremely careful with ashes and buds as we are in a fire prone area.

PET RULES

We welcome well-trained and well-behaved guest pets ONLY ($130 pet fee applies PER PET PER STAY).

If you are planning on bringing more than one pet with you, please check with us ahead of making a reservation.

We have prepared a special kit for hosting your pet that includes a designated blanket for protecting the leather couch, a designated towel for cleaning paws, poop bags, a hair removal roller and a dish for water/ food.

Please don’t plan on leaving your pet unattended in our space if they tend to act out in a new environment. Also, a gentle reminder that the property is immersed in nature and encounters with wildlife such as snakes, bunnies, quail, and coyotes are to be expected. For that reason, we strongly suggest that your pet be leashed when outside.

Pet fees are meant to cover expected additional cleaning costs, but please let us know if your pet accidentally scratched or damaged anything so we can keep the property in top shape.

Party/ Filming or Event Rules

If you are planning on booking The Midnight Sun House for a party, filming, or an event, please reach out to us first to make sure the home is a good fit for your goals. We reserve the right to impose a penalty if you do so without our prior consent.

Other things to note:

Guests will have the entire property to themselves. We have an outdoor utility shed and a space behind the pool house that is not open to guests.

PARKING - It is strictly prohibited to park on the street throughout your stay. This violation could lead us to loose our permit to rent our space. We have ample parking along our driveway.

SERVICE PROVIDERS - During your stay, you may encounter service providers who help with the maintenance of the home (gardener, pool cleaning crew, etc). Please allow them on to the property to do their jobs.

SECURITY DEPOSIT - The owner may withhold all or part of the deposit up to $1000 if any of the house rules are broken, and may pursue legal action if damages or violations exceed the security deposit amount.

LIABILITY WAIVER - By making your reservation you and the other members in your party as THE GUESTS agree to release THE HOSTS from all liability, including financial responsibility, relating to injuries & personal property damage that may occur during your stay. You understand that the property is immersed in nature and that wildlife is a part of the experience, including encounters with snakes and coyotes. You also understand that using the pool, hot tub, hiking and climbing anywhere on the property is at your own risk. You accept full responsibility for any bodily injury arising while on the property and hold owner harmless.
