Bien situé jolie maison propriétaire sympatique. Cependant, la cuisine est petite sans lave-vaisselle pas pratique pour une famille. Les sofas et la télévision pourraient être changés. La plage de l'autre côté de la rue est agréable et la maison bien situé!
Wonderful stay at "The Lookout". The space was as described and Roger is an excellent host. Very much enjoyed our time there and strongly recommend it!
We had a wonderful experience with the cottage, the marsh, and especially with Roger. He visited almost every day to see how we were doing and was quite interesting and personable and gave us ideas of where to eat and what to see. We took his advice and had a wonderful evening in Chatham. We enjoyed walking on the nearby beach and found the cottage fairly central to our mid-cape excursions.
Very cute and comfortable cabin, about 1000 SF with bedrooms all upstairs, small kitchen, dining and living area downstairs, nice deck, high speed internet. Perfectly fine space for a family of 4. Roger came by a couple of times to see how we were doing- very kind host. Quiet area across from the beach and some good tide pooling under a bridge next door. Also a warm water outdoor shower and central A/C if you need it.
Only issues we had with the cabin were a very slow shower drain which left us ankle deep with dirty water when we showered. Also, there was at least one mouse running around every night in the kitchen and downstairs area. This wouldn't have bothered us had it not been for the mouse droppings we found one morning on the kitchen counter. This is part of country living but just want to point out in case others are more squeamish. Roger did offer to put traps out during our stay but we opted out. It sounded like he was going to fix the drain as well so really these are minor issues to an otherwise lovely stay.
Pretty house with a charming host, Roger, who did all he could to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Good accommodation with Pleasant Bay just 100 yards away across the road.
We had a wonderful stay at the cottage which was very conveniently situated for exploring the Cape. It was lovely to be able to cross the road and spend a relaxing day on Pleasant Bay. Chatham is a short drive away and we spent a lot of time there, especially for our evening meals !
The cottage is very quaint and peaceful and it was a pleasure to meet Roger's mother, brother and staff.
We really enjoyed our stay here, ideal location on the Cape, cute as a button accomodation and Rodger was very hospitable and generous with advice on where to visit. We had a couple of little problems with shower drain and kitchen equipment but these were immediately attended to and as we were only stayingal couple of days did not cause any dramas. Thanks Rodger!
