Impossibly pretty new apartment boasts a small bedroom for your commuting convenience. The apartment itself is three bedrooms, a spacious living room and has a fully equipped kitchen and roof access.
Nearby, you'll find a 24 hour health food shop for your fresh juice cravings, a few cafes including the New York Times reviewed Little Skips, and the well known Goodbye Blue Monday. Roberta's Pizza is within walking distance, as is most of Williamsburg.
Entire building was recently completely redone (new kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms, etc.). Also features obscenely tall ceilings, a skylight in the humongous living room, your own closet, and is a block away from Myrtle Ave and the J, M, and Z express trains.
If it takes you 15 minutes to get into Manhattan from our doorstep, you're doing it wrong.
In the summer months, we will insist on the air conditioners blasting in the apartment, so please be tolerant of our need to live in filtered air.
Included with the apartment is a regal beagle. She is imperious, but very snugly. Unfortunately, her queen like nature does not allow space for other animals.

Anna is an amazing host. Very friendly and so helpful!
I've been staying at her place for over 2 months, and it is a great, clean apartment in one of the best neighborhoods of Brooklyn. Take the J train and you'll be in downtown Manhattan in less than 20 minutes. Perfect! Would stay here any time!
We had a great stay at anna's! The place is really close to the metro station, also to a supermarket, some bars. There are othrr rooms for rent in the apartment so we met other people there, which added to the cozy atmosphere. The only problem was a wind draft coming from the window, which anna was really thoughful and tried to tape up and fix but still allows some cold air to seep through. That aside, everything was really good! Anna was nice and came around during our stay to clean and vacuum the place up.
Great place! Very sunny, clean and comfortable apartment. Perfect location — 4 min walk to the train and still quiet.
I didn't meet Anna in person but she was helpful and responsive, and I lucked out with my two Airbnb roommates who were both great.
Only downside was a really loud AC unit located right next to the head of the bed. (Even though it was cool out, the AC was in the only window, so I couldn't just open the window.) But I imagine later in the fall/winter that wouldn't be an issue. I would definitely stay again.
I stayed with Anna for about three weeks in July/August 2013. It was a great experience. The apartment was exactly as described, less than five minutes from supermarket, laundromat, juice store and train station.
The neighbourhood itself is really interesting. It has its own slightly rough around the edges vibe, which I appreciated but I always felt safe and it was only 20 minutes to Broadway Lafayette on the M or J train. The apartment was clean, and Anna was a great host - happy to offer suggestions and available but giving you space if you wanted it to. I hope to stay here again!
I had such an amazing stay at Anna's apartment!
The place is lovely, in a very convenient and unique neighbourhood, literally two minute walk to the subway and only 10-15 mins into Manhattan.
The bed was comfy enough for a futon, nice TV with Apple TV, kitchen, got a rooftop (now with beach chairs and a table!), life saving AC in the rooms.
Anna is super friendly and helpful, definitely a character, not some boring old landlord lady.
I couldn't have asked for a better month in New York, thank you so much dearest!
I'll be back soon!
The first thing I noticed about the neighborhood of Anna's place are the endlessly helpful shopping and laundry facilities just across the street as well as the train stations. There is no better way to safe some much needed money in this really expensive city NY as to have an opportunity to cook. Also, Anna's place is perfectly (!) located, close to both Manhattan, downtown Brooklyn or this really hot area Williamsburg..the appartment itself is staffed with the most elegant, high-end furniture and a big kitchen. And, most of all, Anna is the most perfect landlord one can ever dream of!
Anna is a very gracious host. Her apartment is close to the train, just 20 minutes from the Lower East Side. The room is well-appointed and comfortable. The neighborhood has enough shops and food options to satisfy anybody.
I really enjoyed my stay at Anna's home. She is a very open person and easy to talk ...
The apartment is really close to the metro and is in a quiet street, very pleasant to live. The room is very neat and clean.
We had a great stay at Anna's apartment for just over two weeks.
Really close to the subway and all kinds of grocery stores (Mr Kiwis is about a block away and was a great place to get a juice every morning before exploring the city, also it was 24/7. it was heaven.) We stayed over the christmas period so it was fun to be able to see all the decorations and lights.
Anna was a great host, really easy to ask for advice and really wants to make sure you enjoy your experience in New York.
We had some really fun nights.
The place was clean and tidy and the room was really sweet with a cute view of the street.
We would love to stay with Anna again when we return to the US.
Thanks for having us!
Anna's place was just as I expected from the pictures. It was clean and comfortable. I spent most of my time going to Times Square to see the christmas decorations and stores. Her apartment is really close to the subway. It was easy to take the J train to the Q to get to Times Square. The corner she lives on also has a great place to get breakfast or a hot sandwich off the grill.
I was a little confused at first b/c there were other people in the apartment and I thought they were her roommates but it turned out that she was renting the other room out at the same time. It all worked out fine.
