The Space

My home is an inviting, peaceful home with two loving cats. You will be greeted with a warm plate of homemade chocolate chip cookies, freshly scented towels and a warm cup of coffee. Located between the North and South Campuses of the University of Buffalo and just fifteen minutes from the City of Buffalo, you won't be far from any park, concert venue, fabulous restaurants and architectural wonders. Our city hosts three Frank Lloyd Wright homes and many Olmstead parks. The city offers so many wonderful restaurants, you will be hard pressed to choose! I will provide you with recommendations, approximate prices and directions. I promise you won't be dissappointed!

The breathtaking, wonder of Niagara Falls is only 30 minutes away and there is a beautiful park to stroll through and you must stay for the light show at night that shows brilliant colors against the sparkly, translucent waters!

There is an artsy part of our town much like NYC's Soho, which we call Elmwood. The street hosts museums, boutiques and many great eateries and bars.

Hertel avenue which is not far from the house is another up and coming area with many unique furniture, interior design stores, boutiques, coffee houses, bars and restaurants.

You are welcome to enjoy the living room and sun room which overlook our beautiful maple tree lined street and watch your favorite tv shows or read a book. There is plenty of parking and there are laundry facilities on the same floor.

My cats and I are excited to meet all of you! See you soon!

Guest Access

Wifi, the kitchen, living room, sitting area, their own private bathroom, laundry facilities and outdoor seating area.

Interaction with Guests

I interact with my guests as much as they desire. If it is solitude and peace they desire, then i typically spend time in my study or bedroom, giving them the space they need. If they are eager to chat and hangout at breakfast, I love to learn about their stories and culture. The experience is all about how I can serve my guests, in whatever way that is.

The Neighborhood

My neighborhood is lined with beautiful maple trees, is very quiet with neighbors who are friendly and respectful.

Getting around

There are buses, however Buffalo isn't like NYC or Boston where there is a subway system. It is more of a "car/cab city."

  • Staying at Kimberley's beautiful place was like a little piece of heaven. We stumbled upon this gem because the previous reservation I had booked, did not have air-conditioning and mid summer humidity was imminent. Kimberley was very responsive and flexible. She does everything in her power to make her guests feel welcome. She is a warm, intelligent and intuitive host. The room was lovely and the house beautifully decorated. It is in a suburban location about 15-20 minutes away from the center of Buffalo. There is a lovely patio and yard. Thank you Kimberly!

  • Even I only stay one night with my family, we can still feel that Kim is really nice and kindly, a beautiful and clean house wish our next journey there!

  • Kimberly is an outstanding host, and her home is beautiful and comfortable. We stayed with her for one night while we were in town for a family wedding. Staying such a short time, I wasn't sure how much time we would get to relax, since we got in around 5:30 the day of the wedding and knew we had to drive home the next day, but for even such a short stay Kimberly made our trip enjoyable. She encouraged us to make full use of her living room, and shared a bottle of wine with us, and the next morning had coffee and breakfast available to us. Her home was spotless, and the private bathroom was equipped with additional toiletries if we needed them. We talked with her for a few hours during breakfast before hitting the road, and she truly makes every effort to make her guests feel at home. I cannot recommend her home enough. There are destinations we would like to see in the Buffalo area, so I'm sure we'll be back.

  • Lovely home and host. Kimberly was warm and welcoming, and flexible when my schedule changed and I needed to leave a day early.

  • Staying with Kimberley was fantastic -- she was an excellent hostess. She provided suggestions for dinner (that were excellent), made us breakfast and cookies, and spent a good portion of her time talking with us and getting to know us (and vice versa). Her house is spotlessly clean and her cats are very well behaved. I highly recommend staying with her and plan to do so in the future!

  • Kimberley's place is located in an adorable little neighborhood in Buffalo. Kimberley is the SWEETEST person I have ever met and is SO accommodating. I arrived to her home very late and was greeted with a smile and COOKIES! She had coffee made in the morning and even gave us cookies and almonds for the road. Kimberley gave great recommendations for our short stay; we will be back! Highly recommended!

  • Kimberley was a wonderful host! The room was spacious and very comfortable, the neighborhood was accessible and darling and having our own bathroom was a treat. Her chocolate chip cookies and banana bread are outstanding... I hope to be back for those soon!

  • Kimberley was a gracious host, giving us helpful tips on where to eat and what to do around Buffalo. The place was clean and comfortable, not to mention her chocolate chip cookies were delicious! We definitely enjoyed our stay.

  • This was the first time my boyfriend and I used airbnb, and it was awesome! Kimberley made us feel right at home and was very attentive to our every need. She had great recommendations for sights to see in the area, two adorable and friendly cats, and she herself was an extremely nice and personable lady. The room was nice and cozy, just like the picture. If we're ever staying in Buffalo again, I would definitely consider her first!
