The Space

My home is an inviting, peaceful home with two loving cats. You will be greeted with a warm plate of homemade chocolate chip cookies, freshly scented towels and a warm cup of coffee. Located between the North and South Campuses of the University of Buffalo and just fifteen minutes from the City of Buffalo, you won't be far from any park, concert venue, fabulous restaurants and architectural wonders. Our city hosts three Frank Lloyd Wright homes and many Olmstead parks. The city offers so many wonderful restaurants, you will be hard pressed to choose! I will provide you with recommendations, approximate prices and directions. I promise you won't be dissappointed!

The breathtaking, wonder of Niagara Falls is only 30 minutes away and there is a beautiful park to stroll through and you must stay for the light show at night that shows brilliant colors against the sparkly, translucent waters!

There is an artsy part of our town much like NYC's Soho, which we call Elmwood. The street hosts museums, boutiques and many great eateries and bars.

Hertel avenue which is not far from the house is another up and coming area with many unique furniture, interior design stores, boutiques, coffee houses, bars and restaurants.

You are welcome to enjoy the living room and sun room which overlook our beautiful maple tree lined street and watch your favorite tv shows or read a book. There is plenty of parking and there are laundry facilities on the same floor.

My cats and I are excited to meet all of you! See you soon!

  • I had a very enjoyable stay with Kim. She's the best! I am in my 2nd trimester of pregnancy and Kim ensured that I was most, MOST comfortable. Her house is amazing! Every room has a purpose with making someone feel at home, from a time of solitude and rest in the guest's bedroom to reading, exploring, receiving inspiration in her front room to connecting and conversing in the kitchen. And Kim loves getting to know her guests and respects what the needs are of the guests. Her cats are fun to watch while they interact in their home and it was a comfort for me because I have two cats at home that I missed greatly. Not only did I enjoy my stay, but I really enjoyed connecting with Kim as an individual. She is so passionate about people and helping people. I look forward to the next time that I can go--this time with my hubby and our expectant baby :)

  • WOW!! Kimberley makes you feel as if you have come "home." The room is so very comfortable and charming. Your privacy is ensured when you need it but if you want to share a cup of coffee or a glass of wine, Kimberley is a lovely hostess. We will be returning to Buffalo on a regular basis and plan to return to Kimberley's home -- that's a promise.

  • Very nice host and cooperative. She is always willing to help.

She arranged breakfast and tea on arrival. Nice cats but they get into every place including kitchen
Persons allergic to cats or sensitive on these issues should consider this. It's made clear by owner that she has two cats.

    Response from Kimberley:

Thank you so much Malek, it was so great to meet you. Yes, the cats do greet my guests as they arrive in the kitchen. The cats do love my guests and are very friendly and I do like to be honest with everyone so that if people do have allergies that they are aware of this.

  • Kim was AWESOME. She is a great host, location was very convenient and easy to find as well. Bakes really great cookies and cooks awesome eggs for breakfast. She basically makes your stay very warm, welcoming and very at home. I highly recommend staying at her place.

  • Kimberley is a very interesting lady. She is kind and generous, interested in her guests as backgrounds and very accommodating.

Although I wasn't feeling well when I got to her place as I had been sick the last couple of days, she made me feel welcomed and pulled men out of my recluse and we had a very enjoyable evening out together! She took me to GF restaurant where I had my first real meal in 3 days.

Kimberley also went to the trouble of sourcing GF products for me to eat as snacks and was generous with offering me drinks as well. But best of all is the feeling of ease and warmth she generated and the interesting conversations we had on matters of interest like books and travel. Kimberley also wanted to make sure I was safe traveling and sightseeing around her hometown and gave practical tips which was very kind and considerate of her.

I truly enjoyed my stay with Kimberley. I strongly recommend her as a host and would stay with her again if I went back her way.

  • I arrived at Kimberley's in the worst winter blizzard in 20 years. Kimberley offered the ultimate in personal, homey, friendly, and comfortable accommodations imaginable. The physical accommodations were superlative. Quiet, tastefully decorated bedroom, flannel sheets, private bathroom. I got better sleep than I do at home!!! Her living spaces, sitting room, kitchen, she shares with her guests. I spend the most marvelous evening sitting in Kimberley's living room chatting with her on just about every topic under the sun (or snow blizzard). She also intuitive knew when to leave you with privacy as well. A superlative host, superlative experience, and superlative accomodations!

The house is very cute and well maintained.
I spent different evening in the couch close to windows area tasting a good glass of wine and sharing interesting conversations.

  • My wife and I had an enjoyable stay at Kimberley's lovely home. Kimberley was very welcoming and friendly, and she even invited us to share the Thanksgiving dinner that she made for her family. The accommodations were very comfortable, quiet, cozy, and conveniently located. This is a great place as a home base if you are visiting the area, and Kimberley is very knowledgeable about the area attractions.

  • Kimberly is such a wonderful woman. She welcomed us into her house and made us feel right at home. Her house was easy to find and appeared just it looked in her pictures. She visited with us and gave us some great suggestions for restaurants downtown before a show we were attending. Kim made a yummy breakfast for us in the morning before we hit the road. I would highly Kimberley and would stay there if our travels take us back to Buffalo.
