We've spent 3 nights at Luigi's place in January. The place is huge and perect for a group of people. We were 2 and the house seemed a bit roomy and chilly, but the warmth of Carlo's (Luigi's brother) hospitality kept us warm all the way through.
The house is very clean, beatiful and well equipped. TV, wi-fi and the kitchen appliances all worked perfectly well. The garden was full of mandarine and lemon trees :)
Paid car park is just around the corner from the house and it's totally free of charge from 8pm till 8am daily.

The house is very nice and the hosts have been very, very welcoming and friendly. Don't hesitate to stay there!
Nice place, Nice location. Problem with water, so we had some days without showet.. However, it was a Nice stay.
The house is very large, with decent lighting and all the amenities, and good wi-fi. Despite being on a very busy street (Via Etnea, the main street running through the city), the house was quiet inside. It is set back far enough and behind a gated entrance (shared with other units), though you could hear the significant street traffic when you were out in the backyard, which was otherwise very lovely, with fruit trees.
The house is a bit far from the main section of town. While this was not a problem for us, it did affect our plans. For example, we did not go downtown twice in a day. Once we were out, we were out for the day. And we found that we didn't end up going to a museum that we'd wanted to see because it would just be too far to go and come back. On the other hand, the house is close to the Botanical School with its Gardens, something not in our guidebooks, and which we would not likely have discovered otherwise. The house is also fairly close to the large central park, known as the Villa Bellini, which is a very pleasant place to spend time, and to watch Etna in the distance.
The only significant complaint we had was that the place was not fully cleaned before we arrived. There appeared to be hairs on the sheets, and there was definitely old food in the refrigerator. Carlo (Luigi's brother who greeted us on our arrival) was very helpful, and left us clean sheets to change the bedding, and was otherwise also very congenial and easy to communicate with.
We were met by Luigi's brother who was very helpful, surprisingly quiet house once you step inside, private courtyard entrance through your own lockable gate. Spacious accommodation, however it should be noted that it does not have 2 bedrooms, the downstairs bed is a settee in the sitting room and the upstairs bedroom is an open area between the main bedroom and dressing room. Good location for us, albeit quite a walk down to the tourist area, however good local shops, bakers and terrific cafe opposite. Convenient (free) overnight parking round the corner, cheap in the day.

It was an automatic reservation made 3 days before arrival and
the guests booked for 5 people (which is my house limit) when it reality
would have been 7 people (as she messaged me later); ITALIANO: L'ospite ha
prenotato per 5 persone (cioe' il numero massimo di posti letto), con la
modalità Prenota Immediatamente, 3 giorni prima di arrivare ma in realta'
il gruppo era formato da 7 persone (come ho appreso dopo via messaggio)"
Luigi was out of town, so his brother, Carlo, handled everything for us. Both Luigi and Carlo were great. Luigi responded to all of our emails very quickly. Once we arrived at the house, we realized the internet wasn't working. We emailed Luigi, and he immediately got Carlo involved, and the issue was resolved quickly. The house was spacious, and perfect for our needs. Thank you, Luigi and Carlo! You helped make our stay in Catania a wonderful one! We will definitely contact you again when we return to Catania!
We are still impressed by the hospitality and friendly welcome by Luigis Brother Carlo!
We arrived on late Sunday evening. Carlo offered us delicious Little Pizzas and fried rice cones filled with vegetables. In the fridge cold water and Coke! The First Cappuccinos and Espressos at the Nixe Café Lena right across the Street were for free.
Could there be a better Start?
The house was Perfect for our needs. We enjoyed the quiet Space in noisy Catania, to Rest our Bones After our Karate Workshop.
Thank you Thank you Thank you!
One can See how excellent your host is when unexpected issues like "Key got stuck in the Lock". Carlo was there in no Time.
We will definitly come back!
We really like staying here! The house was well-stocked, is in a convenient neighborhood, has a nice outdoor area and has plenty of room. The Ronsisvalle family was very helpful and attentive and all communication and checking-in was efficient, friendly and easy.
We would be happy to stay here again!
