First, we kindly ask you to put a picture on your profile and some description about you it is important for us :) Also, as soon as you booked can you give us you exact check in and check out times (no pb for late check out by leaving the luggages it is just to plan ahead) Thanks a lot :)
The room (We rend a room within a flat where my wonderful family lives) is located in the area of Strasbourg St Denis, nearby Chatelet, République, Gare du Nord, Grands boulevards, Opéra, you have 4 lignes of metro at 1 block away (plus many bus). You have direct trains to Châtelet (5min), Notre Dame de Paris (7_8min), Opéra (3-4 min), Champs Elysées (10min), Sacré coeur (10min), Bastille (10min), Oberkampf, etc. Lots of noctiliens, bus of night, so you can come easily at any time. There is a LIFT (elevator). You will be in a flat where lives a family, but with your own room. You will have your own keys and be autonomous so do not worry about your arrival times at night you are here to have fun :) My auntie and her family will be hosting you (I will be there only occasionnaly). The area is really colorful (different, with some ladies... but very safe) ! You have lots of restaurants, bars. The biggest cinema of France , Rex, is 5 min by walks. Lots of theaters as well. . The flat is spatious, with kitchen, WC and bathrooms. You can cook if you want and use other facilities such as washing mashine. For your information, you have retailers, like LIDL, Dia, monoprix just one block (website hidden), wireless and phone. If you want, auntie will give you towels and even pyjamas (clean). I do not live there, but you can reach me easily by airbnb. And we had some cases where some guests could not find the bell to ring. I will write you by message once you confirmed the detailed address and all the instructions. But please do not bell at the neighbours, do not disturb or talk to them in no way. Several people disturbed them (like ringing in their bell at 7am on sunday morning). If you have difficulties to find the flat call me or my auntie.
And if you have questions about addresses, transportations, museums , restaurants bar , feel free to ask :)
Une photocopie de la carte d'identité est exigée. Please, bring a copy of your ID. For hygienic reasons, we take off shoes when getting at home (but all the members of the family as well)
Very very good host,so hospitality. Just like your friends or your relatives .Aisey is really very nice and tell you lots of things and very easy to communicate. Can't say more compliment about her, but really want to experience another time at her home next time to Paris. She is one of the reason I begin to love France !
Demet no vive ahí.
La tía es muy amable
El cuarto es cómodo y limpio.
El baño está limpio.
Me ayudaron a reservar un taxi para el apuerto.
El barrio no es bonito. En la calle hay mujeres mayores ofreciendo se día y noche
The room is ver tidy and warm, the host is very friendly and meet my any requirements, it is near the metro station, easy to get everywhere, I will stay in this flat if I come back again, I really enjoyed when I in Paris.
Demet's family were very friendly and welcoming. The accommodation was as described, easy to find and close to the nearest metro station. We enjoyed our time in Paris, thank you.
the room is clean and warm and there are two security door in the 1st floor which made us feel safe. the host family is really warm and welcome, they provide some essential to us which made us feel at home. the puppy is so cute and not disturb when we at home which is nice. the location is really convenient as describe.
Demet and her aunt are lovely people and are incredibly generous. I arrived at the flat pretty late (around 10:30), and was about to head out in search of some food as I was starving. Demet's aunt humbly offered right then to make me something, and before I knew it I had eaten two bowls of spaghetti, a WONDERFUL salad with fresh veggies, parsley, and olive oil/vinegar, and a plate of pickled peppers. They have an adapter and good wifi, a great location (steps from the subway), and a washer/dryer at your convenience.
A couple things I recommend:
-Know at least a little French. Communication here and in the city will be easier.
-use CityMapper, an app that can give you a way (by bus, train, taxi, or walking) to get anywhere in the city.
-Purchase a Carte Visité for the train. It's around €35 but it saves you a TON OF MONEY. Trust me. It allows unlimited access to all zones of Paris.
Overall a wonderful stay.
