A very comfortable stay on an enormous bed! Marie-Josee was a lovely host and the lodge provided a perfect base to explore the mountains around. We particularly enjoyed getting fresh fruit from a truck that comes by the lodge anytime it is delivering produce to Kaslo. Delicious!
The rooms at Kaslo Manor Lodge were great! There were options for couples and groups and although we didn't actually use it...a hot tub! MJ and Ernie were generous, flexible and very accomodating all around. They leave you to yourself but are very helpful when you need it. A charming touch was the fresh bowl of B.C. fruit that put out for us upon our arrival. For me, it's the small things!
The Kaslo Manor Lodge was exactly what we're looking for, for a weekend getaway. We loved the hot tub, nice big bed and used the cooking facility to make some breakfast and coffee in the morning. I highly recommend it.
We came into Kaslo later in the evening, and were not able to meet Marie before we left the next morning. But, she was more than accommodating in making sure we got into our room on short notice with no trouble! It's close enough to where we could walk to and from the main Village for dinner and drinks. The check-in check-out process was pain-free and easy!
We had a fantastic time staying at Marie-Josee's B&B in the beautiful town of Kaslo. It was a pleasure meeting MJ and her family. Her place was very clean and comfortable. It was within minutes walk to the Kootenay lake. We stayed for two nights.
MJ was a generous hostess and gave us very insightful recommendations on restaurants and things to see and do in the area.
It was a relaxing stay and we would recommend friends to stay at Kaslo Manor Lodge.
I had a wonderful stay at Kaslo Manor Lodge. Kaslo itself is a very quaint and cozy community and MJ's home is just that. We ended up staying in the honeymoon suite which was perfect for two people. For the most part we were undisturbed by any other noise in the house which allowed for a solid sleep. Being that we stayed for just one night, we only got to meet MJ briefly but she was very friendly and nice.
MJ is from quebec and love the outdoors...erny lived in germany for many years, love to bike and ski as much as he can.
our place is cozy and simple....
