The Historic Havana Bungalow offers quaint stays in a spacious, fully renovated 1950's gem! This home features two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, full kitchen, dining room, sun room, a three season enclosed front porch and a brand new deck out front. The space is curated with an eclectic mix of Mid-Century modern and boho decor and has a welcoming, cozy vibe. It offers 1400 square feet of living space so you will have plenty of room to relax and enjoy.

The space
The Bungalow is a classic 1950's home. It boasts all original hardwood floors, original classic plaster, arched doorways and beautiful original woodwork throughout. All nine rooms, including two bedrooms and two bathrooms are on the main floor of the home. We can accommodate four adults with the two queen bedrooms. The pullout sofa is great for two more guests, especially children. The home boasts two bathrooms, one with all original tile, fixtures and a big tub for soaking. The other new bathroom features a full size washer and dryer for use, and a new stand up shower. The home has a warm and quaint feel with a cozy, light vibe and we have highlighted the historic features of this spacious beauty. The home also features a brand new set of steps and back deck for easy access from the red brick patio at the back of the house, and we have added a large covered deck to the front of the home. We have taken our time at renovating this beautiful gem and would love to host you in the Historic Havana Bungalow, so please be our guest!

The Bungalow is located on a busy main street through Havana. It is just off the intersection of Route 136 (Laurel Avenue) and Promenade Street. It is two blocks to the Havana Park District office and recreation area including tennis courts, playground and the Parkfit Gym. It is located only about 8 blocks or a 2 minute drive to downtown Havana. It is a mix of residential homes and commercial businesses in the neighborhood.

Hi! I’m April and my husband David and I were both born and raised in the amazing small town of Havana, Illinois. I have rediscovered it through new eyes finding historic buildings, beautiful architecture, amazing natural resources and the friendliest people in the Midwest. We are excited to share our beautiful historic building on Main Street and our newest listing, a 1950's quaint bungalow in Havana and look forward to hosting guests in the Historic Havana Lofts & the Historic Havana Bungalow!
