Welcome to Somerset Storybook Cabin, a cozy reconstructed log cabin filled with books and country charm. Connected to the main property by a winding garden path, it’s perfect for families to unplug and reconnect. Upstairs features queen bunks and a unique heirloom bed from Arabia. Enjoy wide-open space, peacocks, and seasonal pool + hot tub access (as available).

You’ll love it here if you:

~Appreciate rustic charm over modern luxury
~Don’t mind friendly dogs and free-ranging roosters on the property
~Are looking to unplug, slow down, and reconnect
~Want a cozy, character-filled space rather than a hotel-style stay
It may not be the best fit if you:
~Prefer total seclusion from other homes (the cabin is near the main house)
~Expect a full chef’s kitchen (there’s no stove or oven)
~Are uncomfortable around animals or natural country sounds
~Are looking for a modern, newly built luxury experience

~Extensive Book Collection: Unwind with a good book from our vast downstairs library
~ Flower Garden: Stroll through our meticulously maintained garden, complete with a tranquil water feature
~ Indoor Lap Pool and Hot Tub: Enjoy a refreshing swim in our 25 yard indoor lap pool or relax in the attached hot tub (this is a shared space and is subject to availability)
~Walking Trails: Explore the surrounding nature trails for a peaceful walk

~This is a cozy, character-rich country stay — not a modern luxury rental — perfect for guests who enjoy natural surroundings and relaxed living.
~Smaller group getaway? We may be able to offer a reduced rate for parties of three or fewer. Reach out prior to booking and we’re happy to share options.
~Pool and hot tub access is shared with the main Somerset property. Use is reserved for registered cabin guests and is subject to availability. We do our best to provide ample swim time while maintaining a peaceful environment for all.
~If you are interested in inviting additional outside guests to swim, please contact us in advance for availability and applicable rates.
