David has very unique place, near the beach of Nahariya. He is very kind and hospitable host and will do anything possible to make your stay comfortable. Need to mention the two bicycles which you can ask from him at no cost and trip around the beach and even to national park, which located nearby.

We stayed for one night at David's cozy place. The communication was very good, David gave us some nice advices what to do and we could use 2 bikes he had to go to rosh a nikra. The apartment is really nice and close to the beach. We enjoyed our stay and would come back anytime. Thank you again David

The best thing about staying at David's place may be David himself. He is a gracious host and great conversationalist. We arrived in the early evening; he had a lovely light Israeli dinner and some excellent wine awaiting us. The location is great for someone using public transportation, and if you like to bike, we highly recommend using the two bikes he provides (we biked to Achziv beach and then south through town and onto the promenade. So nice to be on the Mediteranean!) The accommodations are very basic, but servicable in every way. Highly recommend you consider staying with David!

I invite you to come and spend a day, a few days A BLOCK FROM THE MEDITERRANEAN. Nahariya is a lovely little town. Spend your day reading on the porch, walk down to the Sea and catch the rays, go swimming in the Sea or at the town pool. There is a public out-door gym/exercise center down the street. Whatever your heart desires. The sunsets are spectacular. Rent a car and I will be glad to drive you throughout the Galil and the Golan.

I am committed to being the finest host you have encountered. Available to answer your question and meet you needs. Unobtrusive and mindful of your need for your "own space".

Many years ago I had a dream to move to Israel. In December 2009 I realized my dream. Since then every day has been an adventure, a challenge and a blessing. My grandfather owned and operated a small inn in the village of Salsig, Hungary. I have decided to meet people in the same fashion as he did, so many years ago, so far away from there. I am a retired psychoanalyst. These days I am reading "The Letters of Vincent Van Gogh" and Infiltration" by Yehoshua Kenaz. Many good books are at your fingertips. I do a lot of bike riding along the shore line and in the fields of the nearby kibbutzim. Want to ride? Two bikes are available. Most days I listen to Murray Perahia playing Bach and Arthur Rubinstein playing Chopin. There is a bakery up the road at Kibbutz Gesher Achziv where my friends David and Vivian bake the finest bread in Israel. Oranges, grapefruits, persimmons, avocados, bananas, watermelons, tomatoes, corn, wheat, soy, are all growing in fields within walking distance.

Perhaps you have thought spending some time by the Sea. You can make your dream come true. I look forward to welcoming you here, "A BLOCK FROM THE MEDITERRANEAN".
