  • Good location. Quick 5 minute walk to the beach. Room is in need of cleaning, carpets and drapes and kitchen supplies are getting pretty worn out and grungy.

  • The pros:

*Great location if you are looking to hang out in Waikiki proper
*The 6th floor-the pool is amazing, the little store was handy, we enjoyed the outside seating

    The cons:

*In general, it was a bit dirty- spots on the curtains, faint graffiti stains visible on the walls
*When I arrived there was an issue with the plumbing. I was very reasonable and worked with Roger to get it resolved. After fielding many phone calls from him, the cleaning personnel, and multiple plumbers, it was never completely resolved during my entire stay. I was disappointed that I had to shower in a different unit and that I wasted valuable vacation time dealing with this issue.

I understand that he could not control the situation but he could have done a much better job rectifying it. I would not stay at another listing from him again.

  • I really enjoyed my stay at Roger's condo! I was able to spend 3 weeks in the heart of Waikiki close to shops, restaurants and the beach! What you see is what you get - the condo is well displayed, clean and comfortable. From the balcony you can enjoy a lovely view of the canal and fireworks twice a week! The building also has a nice pool, a little shoppette and BBQs to enjoy. I would highly recommend the place! Thank you to Roger - he was easy to communicate with and very available by phone!

  • We had a really nice stay at Rogers place. It is located in the centre of Waikiki - so we had nearly everything in walking distance. I liked the view on the Ala Wai Channel very much! We were there as a party of four (2 adults and 2 children under 4y) and I think it was not big, but there was enough space for us - just like a hotel room with a small kitchenette. Roger was very fast and reliable in answering my emails and questions.

  • Stayed in this 17th floor condo for 7 days. Beautiful views. Mornings with rainbows. Great shopping district just 2 blocks away. Beach is 3-4 blocks away. Good location. Roger doesn't seem to do well with text or email. Little slow to get back. And when he does via email.. it sounds a bit like a automative response. But when you call he answers right away. Some confusion with the WIFI. Ended up never having any with our stay. That did put a little damper on our trip. Newer mirrors and bed spread keep the place looking up to date. Bath and kitchen are definitely not. All and all the condo was exactly what we were looking for.... A nice place to sleep with a great view and location. Thanks again Roger.

  • Me and my two friends stayed at one of Roger's condo in Waikiki for 5 nights and had a very pleasant time! It was a really cute, cozy hotel/ apartment/apartment-in-the-hotel(?). Anyways, you can tell he cares about his property....it was well-maintained and the decor gave the place a certain charm. I was pleased to find that the kitchen was fully stocked w/ kitchen tools.

We stayed on the 17th floor - great views of the canal.... and the best part of the condo was the outside patio where we spent the majority of our nights. I was tempted to just sleep outside, it was just SO comfortable!

Overall, convenient & safe location. There was free wifi when we were there, and we were lucky with street parking. We never had to pay to park in the hotel parking lot!

I never met Roger in person, but he was very responsive via email and by voice (phone). He made everything super easy and I had absolutely no problems at all. Thanks Roger!
