This is a one bed apt downtown in Memphis. It's about 5 short blocks from Beale St and close to many coffee shops and food places! Pretty safe though when walking outside, you will be asked to donate some change to the locals there.
The apt is a bed room with a queen size bed, bathroom, living room w a sofa and tv and small kitchen w fridge, microwave and sink. Very nice...Easy to get in and out! The people in the building were all very nice.
I love the location but the halls smelled horrible. The water pressure lacked a lot but it was okay. Totally worth the money and the stay. I never felt like my safety was an issue.
I had a great experience at this room/location! I felt extremely safe in the building, the apartment was clean and everything we wanted to do was within walking distance. It was also very quiet (for a city!) and we had a really good experience. Would definitely recommend this room and host!
We had a great time at sardor's place! The location was awesome and the apartment was just as described. Friendly front desk service as well.
This apartment in the Exchange Building was a great place to stay in downtown Memphis. It was clean, it was nice to have a kitchen, and it only takes a few minutes to walk to Beale Street.
Thanks Sardor, had a great stay at your apartment. Parking was fine in the street to drop of our luggage and the parking station 50 metres down the road was good over night. Perfect location for the city with Beale street only 50 metres away. Apartment was big and comfortable and well appointed. Separate bedroom and lounge was great . I'd stay there again and recommend to others.
I had a lovely time at the Exchange. Staff was lovely and helpful and Sardor was extremely responsive.
I would absolutely stay again, especially with the amazing food and music Memphis has to offer only a 5-10 minute walk away.
I had a great experience. The apartment is very close to many restaurants and bars and was exactly what we were looking for.

I was born in Uzbekistan and raised in Memphis. I'm the middle child, with 2 older brothers and 2 younger sisters -- and recently a 4 time uncle (& soon a 5 time Uncle!!!!)! I've been fortunate to travel the world in my early years and learned a lot about the different cultures around the world. I enjoy learning about geopolitical history, architecture, and technological advancements that benefit the myriad societies around the globe. To me, Memphis is an exciting city that competes with the great cities of the world as a worthwhile stop for play and leisure. Allow me to host you in my apartments, located in the historic Exchange Building in downtown Memphis.
UPDATE: Due to the increased traffic, I hired additional help to make the check-in process more convenient for my guests. The lobby now has a staffed Frontdesk, where you will be able to get any assistance, should you need it. I hope to see you while you're in Memphis, but I do travel a lot and sometimes I miss out on meeting my guests personally. I hope you have a wonderful stay at The Exchange and please don't hesitate to contact me via Airbnb should you need anything.
