  • The studio is indeed spacious, comfortable, and very well-situated. Agustín was friendly, helpful, had no problem providing additional kitchen equipment I asked for, and was flexible about the hours of arrival and not less important, check-out (my flight was at midnight, but I could still stay the whole day in the apartment without additional charge).
The major disadvantage of the studio (which was announced in the ad) is the lack of wireless internet.
Very good place, great host, I would definitely come back.

  • He awaited my arrival and was communicative all through the stay. The apartment was as described and I had a very comfortable stay.

  • Had a great time at this cosy apartment in Recoletta. Short walk to Recoletta cemetery and the metro. There was a problem with the hot water but we didn't really need any as the weather was really warm.

  • I have been staying for one whole week, in this studio, in Recoletta.
Most important : I have been sleeping very well ! good beds, really.
The room is safe, and pleasant, big enough.
For those who love vintage, you will appreciate the bathroom and the kitchen : original fifties or sixties, I think !
I did not see Agustin, but he managed perfectly with the gardian, and has been very gentle with my late departure, in the afternoon.
To be honest, some details need to be improved : the bathroom floor is old and not easy to clean. The fridge has had a long life ! and some more implement would be nice in the kitchen, like a frying-pan (to grill beef, which is primordial, in Argentina !!). These are my (small)points.
The district is safe, a bit noisy… as almost everywhere in Buenos Aires. But in Recoleta, you have everything, every shops, and supermakets you need, all around. Autobuses (collectivos), and nice places to visit…
I’ve had a happy week for my first Airbnb experience, in Agustin’studio.

  • Excellent location. Walked almost everywhere in the city. Felt very safe in the apartment and neighborhood.
It's a studio with 2 comfortable beds and a small kitchenette area. The downsides were the sketchy wifi and the shower. Water pressure and temperature kept changing and the hot water gave out after a few minutes and returned after a few minutes. I think it is a heating unit issue that can be fixed easily.
Agustin, the owner, welcomed me with some basics in the small fridge and immediately brought over a couple of things that were missing.

  • Great apartment, super retro cool, not the cleanest, a bit tired, would be fair value if the price was not $20 extra per person. There is a great cafe on the corner, Starbucks, Fredo (ice cream) across the road and Agustin was friendly and helpful with a late arrival and early departure.

  • Nice little apartment in Recoleta. The location is superb and the transaction was easy. If you want a basic place for one or two, this suits nicely. Thanks!

  • Great location and experience, everything welcoming, non problematic and on time.
    Thank you very much

  • I stayed here for about six weeks. The location is excellent. It is walking distance to many sites nearby. It is kind of in the middle of where you will probably go. The microcenter is about a 30 minute walk and Palermo is about a 40 minute walk. The Subte Line D is a 5 minute walk. The building and neighborhood felt safe. The unit is a one room studio with a kitchenette, about the size of a motel room. The bed was very comfortable. There are actually two twin beds. Because of street noise and elevator noise, I used earplugs and slept comfortably. There is cable tv and wifi, which was spotty at times. I never met the landlord in person. Because I don't speak Spanish, I emailed him with questions, and he usually got back to me later that same day. The unit is not luxurious, but I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a budget friendly place to stay in a good neighborhood.
