The most incredible location and most beautifully designed home are one in the same at Mallard's Landing. Located in front of Lone Pine Island, this lake-front property offers as much fun outside as relaxation inside. Kids will enjoy the play loft, bunk room, and den with arcade games. They'll explore the forest in summer and have tons of space for snow play in winter. Adults will love the huge a-frame windows, gourmet kitchen, and living in luxury! Enjoy a mountain vacation unlike any other.

The space
Fit for a large group, this home is well suited for up to 3 couples and lots of kids in the bunk room. You'll find a primary suite on the main floor with a king bed and en suite bathroom. Upstairs has a guestroom with a queen bed and a twin bed in the bay window. This room also has an en suite bathroom. On the bottom level there is a large bunk room that can sleep up to 10 kids, with two sets of full bunk beds and one set of twin bunk beds. It has a dedicated bathroom with a beautiful free-standing tub for bathing kids or soaking in relaxation. Just a few steps away from the house is a detached suite with a queen bed and en suite bathroom. It's connected with a covered walkway, making it feel close yet very private.

Whether you're cooking in the gourmet kitchen or stretched out on the huge sofa, you'll find yourself staring out the tall a-frame windows that frame forest and lake views. Slide open the large panoramic doors to merge the living room with the deck for indoor/outdoor living.

The design and finishes inside the home are as stunning as the view outside. Every last detail has been carefully chosen by the owners and their designer Brooke Wagner. You'll feel totally spoiled. The home feels spacious enough for large groups, yet intimate enough for quite evenings by the fire. As adults hang out on the main level, kids will spend all their time in the loft upstairs, complete with games, toys, books, bean bags, a teepee, and craft table. Send them downstairs to the tv den where they can watch movies or play foosball and arcade games.

Pour yourselves a glass of wine (provided by your hosts of course!) and sit by the fire, or swing in the hanging chairs under the trees. Whether you come for the peace of listening to blue jays and watching boats go by, or the fun of exploring the lake shore by day and playing games around the 10-person table by night, this house will feel like home. Before you even leave, you'll be booking your return trip for more lifelong memories... and there's nothing we love more than all our repeat guests who feel like friends.

Mallard's Landing is nestled in the most lush part of Lake Arrowhead. You'll be surrounded by shady trees as you walk the quaint neighborhood, not far off the main road. Located halfway between The Village and Blue Jay, everything you might need is less than a 5 minute drive away. The lake trail crosses your backyard and just on the other side of that is picturesque Lone Pine Island. Views of the water and island make relaxing on the deck even better.

We have a huge list of places to eat and activities for warm or cold weather so your whole family will make the best memories during your stay.

Lake Arrowhead is close to our heart and we cannot wait for you to fall in love with it too.
