This charming and bright studio is the ideal place to stay when exploring the treasures of Paris. It's very quiet and has a marvellous view on the Musée Picasso.
It provides all the confort you need to enjoy your stay: a big bright room with a great convertible for 2, table and chairs, flat screen, full Internet connexion, a small but fully equiped kitchen, and a small bathroom.
Enjoy the famously known Marais where you’ll find the best restaurants, museums, and of course the greatest shopping spots.
At least 5 metro stations at your reach will get you anywhere in Paris in less than 30mn.
At present, there is some work on the Picasso museum and it is closed, but all the other museums in the area are open to the public!
Note the following things because it is a building and an old apartment:
- There is no elevator
- One heating plate on the two work
- The heating is to move around the room
Otherwise everything is ok!
You can take the flat at 1pm and leave the flat before 11 am.

Perfect, very sunny spot in the heart of lovely and lively Marais Area. Max and Nicolas were very flexible and easy-going: we could check-out later since no guest would come on our last day.
The studio is located in a nice quarter (very bohemien).
Although the apartment is small, it provides the perfect background for a wonderful stay in Paris. Everything is clean and it is obvious that Max or friend Nicolas takes care. We were very pleased to stay there and would undoubtedly recommend the place.
Good location, lovely view and sunny studio. Small, but perfectly fine for couples. Not so clean and not enough warm water for two people to shower. A friend of Max was a good host!
Very nice location, but Get ready for no elevator and tiny stairway + Get ready for only 5 to 10 min of hot water in a tiny shower room. The view might be nice but under renovation at the moment.
Just back from Paris after staying at this great apartment! Location was perfect in the Marais with lots of trendy bars and restaraunts and with great shopping too. Would definitely recommend to a friend.
The apartment was very small but perfect for two people and very very charming. The location is perfect for shopping and going to cafés in Le Marais. We enjoyed our stay very much. The only thing you should be aware is that there is not enough hot water in the morning for two people to shower. In the evening, however, there was no problem. We would be more than happy to go back!
Loved the apartment - exactly as advertised and a fantastic location to use as a base for exploring Paris. Max was available to communicate with and was at the apartment on time to meet us. He offered some great suggestions about the area and tips on transport and Paris in general. Great stay and strongly recommended.
We thank Max for the night we spent at his apartment in Marais in January 2014. It shouldn't be said a lot about the district itself - you'll find a lot in the guides. Trendy, vibrant, vivid. The flat is small but cosy and full of light (that is really important visiting such beautiful spots like Paris}.
I would recommend it to young people or for short work stays. It fits well.
The host is friendly and responsive, we had some changes with the dates and Max accepted them that was kind of him. Although you might lack immediate communication with Max, he'll be there as you agreed for check-in and check-out.
When the Picasso museum would open again - it'll be even better. Good experience.
Our overall experience with the flat was very good. It is a little smaller than we expected but it was more than enough for our stay. The location was also unbeatable. The flat itself was clean and had everything we needed for our week stay. Our one complaint is that it was difficult getting in touch with our host. We sent three emails through Airbnb indicating that we were arriving very early in the morning and we wanted to know if it was possible to get in the flat a little earlier. We got no response to these and ultimately had to email the host at his personal email address. Although he replied to our message he never addressed the question of whether we could access the flat early. He emailed us the night before our arrival (when we were already flying) to say that he would be an hour late to meet us. We didn't have email access and did not get this message until after the scheduled meeting time. While this was inconvenient, we learned that it was unavoidable as Max was traveling and his train was cancelled. All in all we had a great time in Paris and in Max's flat but more efficient communication would have made it a 5-star experience.
Thanks to Max for a great stay at his lovely apartment! Great area, great flat which was nicely done up and a warm welcome from Max when we arrived!
